The hot dog was good. The bun was not toasted. The coleslaw was okay but nothing special. I would have to give this hot dog a meh plus. It’s good and if you just want a hot dog and a drink then it’s a good place to stop. I also tried the cup of chili and it was good but a little soupy. Maybe that’s why they serve it on the menu as chili soup. It is meh. I would just stick with the hot dog.

It’s a small, no frills, hotdog and soft serve shop. Not the best but definitely not the worst I’ve had. I tried their hot dogs, corn dogs and soft serve. Food was filling and the desert was tasty. I’d go back.

Best kept secret in Flatwoods . They have the best chili. Stop by and grab a hot dog and custard. Don’t miss out on this iconic meal.

Had a Black Cherry in a cup to go. Very flavorful. MY husband had the coffee, which he said was good also. There are 24 soft serve flavors, and it seems to be very popular. Will have to go back and work my way through all the flavors. It hit the spot!

Trashy place, trashy owners, posted a negative review to the Facebook page from a family member and the owner completely lost their minds and went off on me for it. Here’s the review: This has been my favorite place for hotdogs since the first time my husband brought me here 17 years ago on our way from Ky. To Morgantown for a game. I buy the chili in the store, but today it was HORRIBLE!! The wiener was brown and water logged, the cole slaw was flavorless and we got 11 fries in the chili cheese fries( I counted) it was absolutely disgusting so disappointed. I know it was for sale, If it has sold, to the original owners they are gonna ruin your brand, even the chili tasted watered down. If you are the new owners shame on you for cutting corners and ruining this wonderful place!

A lot of people like their hot dogs but I personally don’t like them. Definitely not a place I would actually eat at again. They boast about how many flavors of ice cream they have but I would not consider it actual flavors when they take vanilla ice cream and mix it with whatever flavor you want.

I came to try America’s tastiest chili. It was Great! Onion rings not great. Service was terrible. After eating the hotdogs, wanted a soft serve. I hollered and knocked for someone to make two sundaes. Dissatisfied. I would have returned had I gotten Service. Oh well, I won’t be recommending to my friends and family. I traveled from Beckley. Have a nice day

Custard cone can be flavored with over 30 different flavors, really great. Hot dogs can get many toppings but the dog itself is 1/8 of a pound or smaller. With toppings you can hardly see the meat. Place is forsale, open all year so a money maker , someone buy it keep as is. Or help me win Megamillion and I will buy it.
