This place feels so tucked away that it almost seems abandoned from the outside, but don’t let the secluded vibe fool you-it’s a clean, pleasant, and lively spot, especially on weekends.
I was genuinely impressed by the portions and the fair pricing, especially given how generous they are with the sides. The abundance of fresh vegetables was a highlight. The tomato salad was a completely new and refreshing experience for me—a rare find in local restaurants lately! But the star of the show was the fish sauce; it was absolutely delicious and actually reminded me of my mother’s cooking.
Highly recommend if you want a quiet spot with food that feels like home.

Phenomenal experience. Food is super flavourful and reasonably priced. Steak served with delicious curried cauliflower and parm fries. Had the tortilla soup as well which had the perfect spice level. I was so impressed and thoroughly satisfied that I have returned again for a second day in a row and will likely return again before I leave the city. Servers are quite friendly and the restaurant is quite nice – not too loud not too soft. Keep it up curious palate!!!!

I don’t proclaim to be a foodie and don’t usually post a review but this place is worth a shout at!

Fabulous food that pairs interesting ingredients which give each a distinct flavor, and when mixed together is surprisingly great tasting on the palate.

We had the persimmon burrata, broccoli cauliflower with swordfish (switch this out for shrimps is recommended), garlic hummus.

This is another amazing food place in Santa Monica! Our waitress was so nice, and could easily accommodate my grandmother who has a lot of dietary restrictions. We were pleased to find that they make everything in house, which you can really taste. Especially their sauces, which are amazing. The garlic sauce, mustard, and homage ketchup offer twists on classics that are refreshing and new. I got the hamburger with guacamole on it which was delicious. We also sat outside, which is in an upscale outdoor shopping mall. The service, food, and atmosphere all deserve 5 stars! Amazing!

Great service. Absolutely wonderful people. Great atmosphere and the food and very good. You can tell everything is fresh. The butternut squash soup was fantastic. The burger was good and side salad was wonderful. I would critique the burger a little as it wasn’t probably in my top 10 burgers around the world, but it’s a tough list to crack. This was probably a 7/10 burger. Taste and cook wise. But honestly, I’d eat again if I was local. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way, but it’s a solid place. Lastly, desert. Pudding cake, with ice cream. Absolutely fantastic.

Good unique foods freshly made. Good presentation, good service. Nice hospitable staff. On the third floor that mall. We had hummus for starter it was good, curious salad was good. I would go back there again if I’m back in California.0

Tucked away on the 3rd floor of the Santa Monica Place across from the Children’s Museum. Use parking lot for Santa Monica Place and avoid ground lot scams around it. Well crafted food with local ingredients prepared in their kitchen. Family run, friendly, love to discuss their recipes. Casual dining with a great draft beer selection. We enjoyed the Big Curious Salad, Baja Fish Tacos (crisp and hot with a great sauce), and Hummus.

This place is awesome. The best nachos I’ve ever had! My son had the satay chicken tacos and they were also excellent. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Elliott. What a genuinely nice guy. He’s truly a foodie who puts a lot of love into everything that goes out of his kitchen. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed

The best and most creative menu in Santa Monica. The owner husband and wife are often on-site serving meals and they are incredibly warm and loved by their customers. They made me and my guest feel at home. Ive eaten here four times and never had anything below a superb meal.
