What an absolutely amazing experience at The Cuban Place #2! The authentic Cuban food is truly unforgettable. It’s such a blessing to have a family-owned restaurant in our community serving some of the best Cuban cuisine around.
The Ropa Vieja with white rice and frijoles was incredible — full of rich, traditional flavor. Comforting and delicious. My personal favorite? The tostones with their special sauce — simply perfection! And the flan… wow! It was rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet.
My husband’s favorite dish is the chicken breast with white rice, frijoles and yuca with mojito — always cooked just right and full of flavor.

Went there for a quick lunch with the wife.. everything was ok.. I would give a 8-10 ,was not impressed at all.. I feel like even the beans tasted like burn, like if they burnt the bottom and got the taste on the rest of the food.

Well, where do I start. The waiters are not familiar with the menu. Preferred to speak in English. Food etable but nothing like cuban restaurants in Tampa or Miami. Portions are small and pricey. Will not be back. Very disappointed. Too much hype no substance.

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was classy but comfortable—exactly what you want when you’re sitting down to a great meal. The roasted pork was outstanding—tender, flavorful, and clearly done right. Pair that with perfectly cooked beans and rice and a strong, legit espresso, and you’ve got the full Cuban experience.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. The owners and wait staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy, comfortable, and taken care of. You can tell they genuinely care about the food and the experience, and it shows in every detail.
If you’re craving authentic Cuban food, this is hands down the best Cuban food north of Miami. Add in plenty of parking and a welcoming atmosphere, and there’s no reason not to come back—often.

Had a nice lunch with some co-workers. The cuban sandwiches and chicken empanadas were tasty. The price was okay, and I did note there were lunch specials. We could talk among our group, but when the place is busier the seating is very close together. Not much attention was paid to the decor. Veronica did a great job as our server!
