UPDATE: This review focuses on the pizza.

I can’t say that I’ve ever thought about grocery store frozen pizza being a particular regional American style — my guess is this isn’t the best representation. If you like dry, flavorless, overcooked pizza akin to frozen grocery-store varieties, then this is the place for you!

We ordered a 10” sweet and spicy and a 10” meat lovers. We each ate a few bites and couldn’t continue. It was bad. No flavor. Burnt. Dry as the Sahara. The crust is akin to microwave pizza crust.

Ona positive note, we also ordered the wedge salad. It was as expected; crisp lettuce, a generous portion of fresh tomatoes and bacon with a nice tasting salad dressing.

Pizza was definitely great. Crust was perfect, plenty of toppings for the 14 inch meat lovers that we ordered . Ceasar salad was enough for 2 people and some left over. Will be back for sure. Also ordered meatball sub to go.

This is our go-to pizza place. We typically dine in, order a salad and a small size pizza to share, there are always some leftovers to take home. The food and service is always consistently good.

The salad is crisp and one of the best ceaser salads I’ve ever had, delicious with great portions. The pizza was sorta greasy but could be because we got pepperoni and bacon. The single meatball was also very good. Our server was also very nice, helpful, and attentive.

Very roomy restaurant with tasty pizza. Takes about 15-20 minutes for a pie. 14 inch is more than enough for two people. Liked the creamy Parmesan dressing to dip as well. Had a great server today (1pm 11-23). Forgot his name!

Let’s Talk about it
This was my first time coming here and I was really excited to try the pizza, because I haven’t had a pizza as good as Edison in Cleveland Ohio as of yet. The staff were really friendly the dining space was a nice size with plenty of sitting. My husband really enjoyed his 10 inch pizza and he said it was good. Me on the other had, I ordered the vegetarian pizza and I must have missed removing the tomatoes off, when I replaced the mushrooms. The tomato sauce along with the tomatoes was real over powering that I couldn’t taste anything else, so my pizza was not good, that’s my fault for not paying attention. I would suggest either removing some of the tomatoes or taking them off completely. I could not taste anything but tomatoes. I tried eating 3 slices and that was it. I myself would not recommend that pizza, unless you create your own. The wedge chopped salad was good, even though it’s not really a chopped salad it is just really lettuce and toppings. When I normally get chopped salad it’s really chopped down to bite size pieces. The dressing was really really good. I will try back at a later date to get the cheese pizza.

I got my order about 30 mins ago and had to leave a review now. The thin crust pepperoni pizza was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of crust, sauce, and cheese. The hot honey added an impeccable kick that burst with flavor. Truly a mouthwatering pizza

It’s so hard to find a good GF crust on a pizza, and The Crust delivered! So so good. I got the gluten free “Sweet and Spicy” pizza and it was a unique and delicious experience.

I am an avid pizza enjoyer and this was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, The cheese, the sauce, and the crunchiness of the crust was just right. The quality of the toppings was top notch as well and our server Tim was so nice and super accommodating. We will definitely be back next time we are in Charlotte

They have the best gluten free and vegan cheese in the area. They cheese actually melts. When they say the crust their toppings go to the crust and are piled high.
Edit to add…
This was the first time this had happened out of the times we have gone, but the maranera sauce was accidently put on my pizza. Of course it was covered by goodness and I thought the taste difference was because I had added basil to the pizza and not green peppers. After a few pieces I notices red under the cheese. Found out it was the sauce and the waiter found out it had black pepper. I am allergic. Not deathly, but enough. He had them make me the correct pizza and asked every customer there if they had an allergy and if they happened to have benadryl. They are across from Walgreens and my husband had gotten me some, not realizing the waiter was doing this. I am ok and will definitely go back. They made it right and went above the call of duty trying to find me benadryl and checking on me to make sure they disnt need to get medical attention for me. (I really wish I knew his name.) He is also the waiter that helped us create my son’s garlic olive oil pizza, no cheese to make it like garlic bread sticks. His favorite thing ever. They now have benadryl in the first aid kit, just on case. I gave them one of the packets my husband got me. Still a fun birthday experience.
