Open all year Le café french bistro is an authentic French restaurant, open daily 9am-4pm for breakfast and lunch with homemade baguette and menu a based on it with all the french snacks. Although amazing homemade French desserts, drinks and coffee. The dinner 5-9pm closed Monday night only, a traditional french cuisine with an entirely artisanal homemade menu based on all the French classics.

I found myself returning to this place several times—not only for the delicious food but especially for the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, which makes every visit feel welcoming and relaxed.
The view of the Animals Surf Spot is absolutely stunning and adds something truly special to the experience. Whether it’s a morning coffee, a glass of wine with cheese, some snacks or a full dinner, this spot is perfect at any time of day.
I’m already looking forward to returning the next time I’m in Ahangama.

Firstly: NO WIFI, CASH ONLY
Apart from that the place is very cute, by the beach, there are a few sockets to charge. Apparently they close at 4pm (not the 3:30pm that it says on here). Reopen at 5pm for dinner.
Tried the coco smoothie bowl and it was so good!! You can taste the dark chocolate. Highly recommended trying it!
Nice cafe to chill and get some work done on your laptop, but you gotta use your own hotspot.. hence the 4 stars.
Service was not bad the girl in the front couldn’t understand what I was saying do I had to repeat a few times..

The food here was lovely. Really delicious. It felt authentic french with local ingredients.
The service was also good l however this place is CASH ONLY. Would have been really helpful if there was a sign or we were informed that its cash only before hand.

We ordered mushroom cream pasta. The portion size was great. It was tasty but a bit bland for our taste. They don’t serve bread with pasta but served it on request without extra charge. Wish they had more options for vegetarians.

I’m giving 5 stars because we went to get some cakes there and tarts that we ordered were delicious. However I don’t understand the concept of this place as the menu is bizarre. It’s French cuisines however there are some pastas and fries on the menu. That’s it. This place has so much potential though as the location is amazing.

This place is a hidden gem tucked away between the stones. I found it randomly while searching for cafés in Ahangama, and it turned out to be a great discovery. The food is authentic French cuisine. For Indian taste buds, it may not feel like a feast, but the quality really stands out. They do not use any processed food—everything is made in-house.
The prices are very reasonable. The place is not very classy, but it is cool, peaceful, and has a nice vibe. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here with my friends.
We ordered vegetarian food, and the staff took extra care to make sure no egg was added. Everything was completely vegetarian, which we truly appreciated.

Small pretty cafe slightly away from the main bustling street. Short menu yet good to taste. The pasta was delicious and it’s good enough to be shared between two people.

Can’t reccomend this resturant enough. They offer the highest quality meat in the area at incredibly fair prices (i.e you won’t find it vs the quality), supported by a curated, excellent wine & food menu. For the best experience, book a table for your group at 5:30 PM—the sunset view is absolutely stunning. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, it’s easily one of the best spots (always) in Ahangama.
