The Crunkleton Charlotte is a private club located at 7th Street and Pecan Avenue in historic Elizabeth. Here you will enjoy the same classic cocktails, deep selection of fine spirits, curated wines and craft beers as our original Chapel Hill location with the addition of a full kitchen centered on open hearth, live fire cooking for dinner nightly. Our dinner menu is designed to complement the cocktails, prepared and executed with a similar respect for the past with new, innovative twists. We serve appetizers, entrees and shared plates and feature everything from dry-aged meats and hearth-hung chickens to seasonal small plate offerings and a really good burger. Each and every item kisses the hearth at some point during preparation.

Excellent dinner. Very accommodating and friendly team. Shared a few dishes and a few appetizers. All delicious. I never order burgers on restaurants and haven’t had one in years. Glad I did this time around. Their wagyu burger & The lamb stroganoff are solid, but the crawfish appetizer was the star.

Beautiful restaurant and bar with open, airy, relaxed vibe. Bar provided amazing drinks. Brunch was amazing! Jasmine provided exceptional service. French press coffee was rich, hot, and delicious. Beignets were hot, soft, melt in your mouth deliciousness. Spicy chicken breakfast sandwich was perfect spicy, hearty, so satisfying! Cheesey grits were one of the best I have had. Shrimp and grits and Charlotte hot brown were thoroughly enjoyed by our friends. Highly recommend for brunch!

We had the pleasure to have Joey as our server and man was it phenomenal. He asked about food allergies, great recommendation for a drink for my lady, and then Brittney with the tattoos knew my steak wasn’t medium well and came to me and swapped it out and then e got some desert and it was PHENOMENAL. I got the steak and it was one of the BEST steaks I’ve ever had.

Made reservations weeks ago! And today was it. It was well worth the wait and friends suggestion to go here. It was packed. The drink menu choices are no joke. So many choices! I ordered the burger with a sunny side up egg! Wow! The other plate ordered at our table was their brunch burrito. It’s so massive it’s worthy considering to share. In the end we hadn’t had e tough delicious calories so we decided to also order the Beignets (half order) and boy was it tasty. Awesome spot for brunch lunch or dinner. Make your reservations!

LOVED THE SERVICE, FOOD, and ATMOSPHERE! We had the “Crawfish dip” (not pictured, “A Really good burger” and the “Tomahawk steak”. The portions are large (except the appetizers. The crawfish dip was delicious, really wish the size was larger). This place was packed but I called ahead and was able to put my name on the waitlist before even arriving at the establishment. I know a lot of restaurants require you to be present in order to add your name to a waitlist, so I appreciate being able to call before arriving to be added. The atmosphere during the evening on the patio is beautiful, especially if the weather is nice outside. Inside it was loud due to the amount of guests, but outside was so soothing with the music selection they had playing. Our server was awesome and had great recommendations for substitutions due to a wine not being on the menu that my fiancé frequents. Steak was cooked to perfection, along with the burger. My highlight outside of the crawfish dip was the side dish of baked macaroni. A lot of places try to make such a simple dish complicated in order to make it more visually appealing vs having it seasoned and made properly. Their macaroni was mouth watering! Had a lovely cheese pull to it, the right cheddars were used, not greasy, or overwhelmed with breadcrumbs. No complaints. We will be back <3

Stopped by here on a whim on a Sunday afternoon and we were not disappointed. Atmosphere was welcoming. Membership only dining but it’s $10 for a year membership. We sat at the bar and we’re impressed with the wall decorated with what appears to be amazing collection of spirits. Our bartender Haley was pleasant. We enjoyed everything we ordered.

This was our first visit and it was so much fun! “JP” was amazing and I appreciate the amazing drinks and recommendations. The calamari and street corn was very flavorful. The coolest part was getting a pour from your birth year! We will be back!!!!

This place is a favorite for my husband and I. It’s a great place for date night, celebration, or going out with friends. Every dish and drink I’ve gotten has been very good and you can tell the bartenders focus on flavorful, quality dishes. There is a $10 annual membership that you need to enter, but it makes the experience feel almost exclusive. They have pricier options on the menu, but the burger and fries is always my go to. You also can’t go wrong with the beignets!
