We didn’t even finish the food, and that never happens, and I have teen boys (they’ll literally the wood off the walls if you let them )
Also, we paid close to $200 total, and potatoes and corn are NOT a part of the boil you have to order separately and that’s where they get you in my opinion with price.
I found this place on TikTok and it was overhyped, overpriced and very under whelming
Again, this isn’t to bash, I’m a foodie and would love to see this place thrive because it has the potential. The staff is great, the atmosphere was cool, food just needs a makeover.

I went to The Crawfish Boss in Youngsville my first time here, we were celebrating a birthday.
There were 12 of us this included a baby and two 5 year olds. 8 of us got there at 5p the rest of the party arrived closer to 6:30p.
So let’s start off with the positives:
-Cool atmosphere
-They had an area for the kids
-TVs in every corner
My complaint:
-We didnt get menues until about 5:30
-Water was nasty and my limes looked expired
-Drinks were terrible (I had a frozen margarita and had to send it back) I got a margarita on the rocks still was not right but I muscled through
-Waited forever for food (this wouldn’t have bothered me if, read below for my next complaint)
-My Crawfish along with my potatoes, corn and sausage were cold. Not warm, COLD!
-I had to ask repeatedly for the 1 Link of boudin I ordered for my kid and it was the first thing I ordered.
I’ll pause here to say I was giving our waitress the benefit of the doubt because most of these things were not her fault which is why I didn’t complain, at first…
During this time both the owner and some other man came to our table to “check on us” but when we asked for things those things were not relayed to our waitress and or he was shocked that we even needed anything
So why come to the table..? We had to hunt our waitress down the entire time, which is why i assumed he was coming to the table, to help but didnt.
And let me make this known it’s not just about the waitress it’s mainly about the owner but it was a collective effort!
My biggest complaint is the price I paid for everything and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHINGGGGGG!
Note take this:
I ordered 3Ibs of Crawfish my waitress asked if i wanted sauce I said no but could I get Mayo because there was Ketchup on the table. She said yes she could do that, perfect!
I did ask for a different Corn at some point because the one I had was not cooked..
My mom Ordered Dungeness crab the waitress asked if she wanted it spicy my mom said yes, ok cool.
My mom’s friend ordered the same thing.
Once we got our food they asked for butter and extra seasoning.
Dalis had his link of boudin which the casing looked not all that done but it didnt mater because Dalis just eats the inside.
At this point im noticing things here and there but we were celebrating so I genuinely didn’t want to make a spectacle.
Another individual at our table had to send her chicken fingers back because they were not cooked.
I ordered another boudin, never got it!

Here’s what took the cake! THE BILL!
We were charged for every single little thing!
Mayo
Seasoning
Butter
I was genuinely taken back at the price of things over all but that was pretty clear on the menu what wasn’t clear was the fact that everything was an extra cost. If you wanted spicy.. extra cost!
Butter, which should come with the crabs, extra cost! Want to make your own sauce, extra cost!
Now the ladies that were with us all worked for a 5 star restaurant back in the gab so everyone at the table understands restaurant business through and through. The waitress should have been transparent with any additional cost and we let her know that. The waitress seamed overwhelmed so we asked for the manager to let him know how we felt, this was after we already paid the bill!
His response “I don’t do CUSTOMARY I do it my way”
Mind you Im cutting his rudeness down.. the fact that he was even arguing the point sent me!
So sir if you read this just know you will never see our faces agan and you will NEVER see me recommend your place!
