I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with the Au Sable Inn. Last night my girlfriend and I were on the river doing a little fishing from the boat when we were starting to get hungry and thought about heading in to go eat when I thought “Lets see if the Au Sable Inn will let us get a to go order and bring it to the break wall so we can pick it up from the boat”. After a short call and about a 10 minute wait we were picking up our food on the river! Great experience, extremely convenient, and delicious food! Also, shout out to the server Emily that brought the food out to us, we appreciate you!

My extended family planned a Memorial Day weekend trip to Oscoda and was worried about finding a restaurant to accommodate 20+ people. I was able to make a reservation the morning of our planned arrival and was delighted my entire group could even be seated together on a holiday weekend! The service was friendly and efficient on a busy Friday evening (thank you, Michaela and Noah)! Everyone in attendance also loved their food, with the brisket mac and cheese being particularly popular. I’m so happy to have found this awesome restaurant and look forward to returning when I get back to this area again!

Not sure if we just ordered the wrong menu items or if we were at the right place at the wrong time but the food was really bad. I had the pizza husband had the steak. Couldn’t pick up the pizza without everything falling off and it was very perfumey. Husbands steak was dry and unseasoned. We spent over $100 for the quality that tasted like $10 from the dollar store. The servers seem really sweet and hard-working. Ours was Emily. An absolute angel.

Nice vibe on the river with indoor and outdoor seating. Menu has a variety of choices from pizza to burgers to seafood and meat. Price points are reasonable and portions are large! Our server Lauren did a great job. We all enjoyed our choices. Only complaint I have is the 4% service fee on credit card purchases. I get that they’re trying to save money, but passing that on to the customer is IMO tacky. Wouldn’t stop me from returning though, but may bring cash next time, which I presume is their goal

Nice Restaurant on the Ausable river in Oscoda.

Food is excellent. Went here a few times for dinner! Parmesan encrusted Walleye was delicious and so was the Lemon Chicken. Lobster dip is phenomenal. Serving sizes are huge! Great drinks too!
