Such an awesome Irish pub!!! It has all the charm, warmth and ambiance one would expect without the old, ragged feel some pubs have. This place is crisp and clean! We had the Irish stew, which is apparently a winter special. It was superb to say the least. The server was also really friendly and helpful.

First, the interior has really nice seating. Love the snugs on the wall, big tables, lots of TVs and comfy bar stools. The wood decor is great. Excellent beer and liquor selection, even deepcuts like fine bourbons, Powers whiskey and great guiness pours. The Grilled Cheese and that soup were divine! Mac and cheese with the sausage was really good, but that grilled cheese stole the show! The service was great, can’t complain. It did get loud when a big crowd of people got rowdy, but its a saturday night in an irish pub during sports season in Downtown Dallas.

Didn’t eat here, to be fair, but enjoyed a Black Bush with ice and a glass of wine in a genuinely engaging, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere. Loved the traditional feel—barman and servers were fantastic. Drop in, visit—you won’t be disappointed.

5 out of 5. Amazing food, service, and drinks. Appetizer was out within 10 minutes of ordering. Dinner quickly followed. Irish nachos were great. And the Bangers and Mash were phenomenal, with a great amount of food.

I am writing to offer a glowing recommendation for The Crafty Irishman Public House in downtown Dallas. My recent visit there was nothing short of spectacular, solidifying its place as a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a true taste of Ireland coupled with outstanding American fare.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was a perfect blend of cozy Irish pub and lively downtown hotspot. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home.
For my meal, I had the pleasure of devouring the Irish American Burger, and it was a revelation. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, and the toppings were a brilliant fusion of classic pub elements with a unique twist that made it stand out. It’s a burger I’ll be dreaming about until my next visit.
My wife, equally delighted, ordered the Monte Cristo. It was a masterpiece—a golden-fried delight with the perfect balance of savory ham and turkey, all complemented by a dusting of powdered sugar. She couldn’t stop raving about how it was one of the best she’s ever had.
Beyond the food, the drink selection was impressive, and the overall vibe of the place was exactly what you hope for in a great pub—friendly, inviting, and full of character.
The Crafty Irishman Public House is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. The quality of the food, the warmth of the staff, and the charming ambiance make it a true gem in the heart of Dallas. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal and a fantastic time. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Sincerely,
A very satisfied customer”

This place quickly became my favorite restaurant, earning a solid 5/5 rating across the board! The service, ambiance, food, and drinks were simply outstanding.

Service: The staff was excellent, attentive, and made us feel right at home.

Drinks: I highly recommend the seasonal plum cocktail—it was a delightful treat!

Food: The highlight of my meal was the Monte Cristo, which was unbelievably delicious. Made with smoked turkey, ham, Wexford Cheddar, and Swiss cheese on sourdough, it’s beer-battered and fried, then dusted with powdered sugar and served with raspberry preserves. The presentation was stunning, and I couldn’t resist sharing it with everyone at the table. They all agreed it was the best sandwich they had ever tasted!

Overall, The Crafty Irishman is a must-visit for anyone in Dallas. I can’t wait to go back!

Loved the happy hour pub pretzels! Those and the brown bread ice cream are not to be missed in my opinion.
The Irish mule was really refreshing with a nice spice from the ginger.
I was so excited about the scotch eggs based on the pictures, the eggs were cooked perfectly but the sausage on the outside ended up a little hard and dry.
