Stopped here last night (2/15/26) around 6:15 and let the server(?) Know we were waiting on some friends.
No customers except in the take out area. We get seated and ask for a table because of a medical accomodation need, which we state clearly. Server was curt and said “those are only for parties”. We asked about the other side,”I haven’t bussed those”. Seats us and leaves. We don’t see him again for 20+ minutes. In that time no one else enters.
The music is cutting in and out constantly, also playing music not appropriate for a family restaurant (had expletives).
The bathrooms were an actual nightmare. None had toilet paper except some tiny, mostly used rolls sitting on the side. At least one of the stall doors had no lock. At least one toilet paper dispenser had been ripped off the wall.
One sink was completely wrapped in plastic, the other was pulled completely from the wall.
The back exit was entirely blocked by boxes.
When we finally saw the server again we asked for water, after another 8 minutes we just left and warned a pair that came in to do the same.
Those dirty tables were never bussed, the take out customers were still waiting, and there was a massive pot smoke cloud as we left.
This was a first for me, and seeing the reviews for it leaves me entirely baffled.

Delicious! My food was cook just right except the French toast. The French toast should had been dipped in a milk, vanilla extract, sugar, scrambled eggs & spice batter. It was browned golden & was dipped in just scrambled eggs on one side then placed on the grill. This wasn’t French toast to me so asked Sam the waiter for some cinnamon to put on it. Sam gave me cinnamon sugar. He provided great service in being attentive to our requests for our food & drink orders, condiments. Mr. Charles the manager & team members were professional, friendly & efficient to patrons. The restrooms were well maintained. I noticed that general manager was on site conversing with Mr. Charles.

A person really has to be dissatisfied or extremely satisfied to take their time and write a review…. This review is coming from a manager of a restaurant itself…… Immediately upon walking in the guy older gray hair heavy set was extremely rude. Very standoffish and it was not welcoming. Walk us over to a table didn’t say anything. Came back and said what are we drinking. This is not acceptable not customer service either. I don’t have to spend my money that I’ve worked extremely hard for on service that is not up to par with the work I put in to earn it. Please do better this was horrible I took my family and I left. I’m not sure if he thought since we were African-American with one Hispanic girl that we weren’t tippers, but again I am a manager of a restaurant. Been in the industry for over 20 years. He would be fired on my shift.

I haven’t been to IHOP in a long time, but I came to the location in Oxon Hill, Maryland . Food was delicious. Great atmosphere and service. We were seated immediately. The Server: Yessica was very courteous and polite. I ordered the sirloin tips & eggs with sautéed onions and mushrooms, served with two eggs and two buttermilk pancakes. I will definitely be back.

I visited IHOP last night and ordered pancakes with a side of fries. The pancakes were good—fluffy and satisfying, just what you expect from IHOP. Our server was nice and polite, but unfortunately he didn’t come back to check on us, which affected the overall experience. Additionally, the seating looked worn and could use replacing, and the location overall could benefit from a refresher. The food was enjoyable, but improved attentiveness and updated seating would make a big difference.

We were out shopping and decided to stop for a bite to eat. There was Ihop, really convenient from where we were shopping. We entered and were seated quickly. Our server Mike greeted us and asked if we wanted anything to drink before ordering. We decided to place our order at that time and the food came out fairly quickly. It was great. Thanks Mike for making dining at the Ihop a great experience, from beginning to departure.

The service was extremely slow. It was two of us and one other person in the restaurant. For starters my appetizer sampler order was placed 5-10mins after it was placed I was made aware that they were out of onion rings. They substituted my onions rings for some heavily seasoned fries. They never made me aware they were out of tenders but instead just gave me 2 chicken patties. Then I ordered sirloin tips which 5-10mins after I ordered was informed they didn’t have those. Once I told them to just cancel that they found some sirloin tips but I had to wait extra time for them. Once I received them they were extremely overcooked and rubbery. My hasbrowns were burnt on the bottom. I had to go into the kitchen to ask the staff for utensils and syrup.

An unexpected diamond for sure as I haven’t visited this establishment in a long period of time, I found that the service was absolutely superb. 5 Stars plus from the Associate that took our order to the food production. Bottom line, it was GOOD ! The menu provided so many choices that it was hard to decide. Nevertheless, once my selection was placed, I simply waited for the servings. I was not disappointed. I suggest that you give them a try, just bring an empty stomach. Then prepare to enjoy a fabulous meal.

All I have to say is first of all who would serve that to customers and second of all is the pictures speak for themselves. So my husband and I went for a late 3 am food stop which we soon regreted. The waitress was very pleasent and nice but the food was absolutely appalling. I got the split decision breakfast and my husband got a burger and onion rings which took about 30 mins to get to us which was ridiculous considering making eggs and bacon takes 5 mins. As soon as our food came is when disappointment hit my eggs were scrambled instead of sunny, though the waitress did tell me she can get my plate made again but I refused because I knew the same level of low grade food was gonna come again. I then noticed the burnt to crisp peices of bacon, ham and shriveled up sausage I took a few bites because of the protein but it was bad as well as the underdone hashbrowns falling apart. The burger he didn’t even touch because the egg was overcooked, beef and burnt bacon. Even the pancakes and french toast was bland, flimsy and soggy if they can’t even get that right I don’t know how they’re still open. Anyways to close this long fiasco up within the first 5 mins of receiving the food we paid, took a few nibbles to not feel guilty for wasting $30 and got the hell out.
