Being Purchased in 2019 from recent owners of Franklin’s Cove, We’ve gotten a full make over to set the mood for a perfect night out. With new daily specials, events and live entertainment, it makes it hard to stay away! The growth of this company is one to follow, so come check out what’s new, relax, and stay a while!

For what it is “a bar” it’s great. Plenty of TVs , a live stage for live music, pool tables the works.
That’s just not my scene so for me it was too loud and a little over stimulating. So if you’re not into that sort of thing I’d order to go.
The food?…. EXQUISITE! The lamb lollipops? (Currently $19 11/2025) you get 3 and they are seasoned and cooked to perfection served on a bed of greens with some sort of lemon sauce.
That’s the only picture I took because I forgot to take of the rest of the food.
Lasagna- the red sauce is so good! And a great ricotta mozzarella blend
Pizza- we built it. Toppings are fresh-the crust was great. The sauce seemed different from the lasagna red sauce (for me the lasagna red sauce was preferred).
Pesto tortellini (w/steak add on)- they cooked meat to order and it was seasoned well. Pesto was nice and piney super fresh and pasta was great!
Build a burger (in a bowl) sweet potato fries-
I didn’t taste the burger bowl, but the sweet potato fries are the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. They were fresh not processed and tasted like fried sweet potatoes .
Desert: brownie Sunday it’s humongous enough to share with 3 people. The pie is enough for one. Or two on a small appetite. They were both very good!
The owner ,Dan stopped by our table to say hello and was very pleasant in his interactions. And our waiter Charlotte handled her self well.
All in all was a wonderful visit. Very well rounded menu and all items we tried were VERY good! Would just get my food to-go next time.

Hands down the best fish and chips in town. The fish is perfectly cooked crispy on the outside, tender on the inside snd the portions are generous. Yes, it’s $30 a plate, but the quality absolutely justifies the price. Great atmosphere, solid service, and food that delivers every time. Well worth it.

First time there tonight (we even told them it was our first time) and what a disappointing experience. The service was awful. We waited over 20 minutes to get our order taken and there were only eight other tables in there and we saw four servers running around. After they brought our food we weren’t checked on one time and sat with an empty drink through the entire meal. I just finally got up and go find one of the servers to bring us boxes and our check so we could leave. After we paid she had the nerve to say “I’m sorry you had a bad experience but you don’t need to be rude”. What has happened to Customer Service?? Most customers will not tell you they are dissatisfied, they just will never be back. When somebody actually expresses their frustration you do what you can to make it right. Get the manager out to their table right away! But she was so proud of herself for getting her little snide comment in.

If you are looking to enjoy yourself with a great atmosphere and delicious food, The Cove is the place to visit! First let’s talk about the food: the portions are on the larger size and the taste, WOW. We got the lamb tenderloins appetizer and it immediately became a favorite! The rosemary sauce that came with the dish was so good I had to save it to eat it with my main dish. All the staff is incredibly nice an attentive too. No complaints at all. The bathroom and the entire place over all is super clean. We watched a live band known as “Those Guys,” I seriously think they will blow up and become really famous soon. If you are in Murrieta, California you have to stop by The Cove!

I’m so lucky I found this place a couple years ago! It’s one of the only bars that show the UFC fights and it happens to also just be an incredible place. Lots of fun games, good atmosphere, great selection of drinks, and truly impressive food!

Went here for a football game Sunday morning and it did not disappoint! Plenty of seating and TVs with one of the super nice owners putting the game of your choice on a TV near you. Love the decor and the place is very clean without any type of bar odor. I had The Favorite Salad off the brunch menu and it was fresh and filled with flavor! My husband had the 3 egg dish that came with potatoes, bacon and toast. He said it was all very delicious with the eggs being moist and fluffy. Our server was sweet and very attentive the entire time. Will be back for more games!

I’ve been coming here for many years, when the place was called Spelly’s..I’ll start with the positives. The atmosphere here has always been really good. Service is decent. Under the previous owners, happy hour prices were actually fair. Here for the Cowboys vs Packers game and the prices have just gotten insulting. $15 is a happy hour price for fish and chips, with 1 piece of fish and fries . All of the prices seem exorbitant. Of course the excuse will be something Covid related, or shortage related. Covid‘s been over for three years and there are no more shortages, but places just continue to jack up the prices, thinking we’re clueless to actual food costs. I understand a place making a profit, but $15 for a house salad, is ridiculous. I’ll definitely be looking for another place to watch games.
