Wings are our “thing”, tossed in hand-crafted specialty sauces like the house favorite Mango Habanero, or our signature Garlic Parmesan. If you’re looking for more option, The Coupe also serves a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and sides to go with our infamous wings. The Coupe is open late-night and follows the sport season with specials year round.

The Coupe is a speedy, good chicken restaurant on campus. Unlike others, the line goes by fast enough that the wait isn’t very long. The food itself is alright, there is better chicken in the world but for on campus options you either have The Coupe or Chick-fil-A, Chick-fil-A has insanely long lines most hours of the day which makes it not the best option but a better chicken in my opinion. It is decent place for the price, burgers are pretty okay and fries are good as well. Usually I order through the Starship app so I don’t care too much about the wait time, but it was never too bad for me. Overall it’s a regular student food place, nothing more.

Ordered online thru the app and it said 27 minutes. Ended up being over an hour. The line was huge with no one enforcing social distancing. There were about 20 starships waiting to pick up orders outside also. Quite the show! The employees were way overworked so you can’t help but feel bad for them. The employee didn’t even know how to give out online orders. More training is needed as well as figure out how to make the app more accurate. Doesn’t seem that hard. The food was ok except the mild sauce was too spicy this semester. C’mon NAU! Get your act together.

Usually this place is pretty good. The price is really good for wings. Yesterday though, they forgot my order and it took them forever to fix it. I was there 45 minutes and they didn’t even apologize. The wings were dry when I eventually was able to eat. It might be worth it to just go to ATL Wings instead.

Apparently, they charge for water cups here. Which is a bit ridiculous… not the greatest service from cashier. As for the other worker, they are great!

I had ordered fries and wings. The fries were supposed to come with ranch but didn’t. And there was only about 20 fries smooshed in a box next to my wings. When they were separate orders. This is not the first time I experienced bad service. I previously ordered boneless wings and received traditional with the bone. This establishment needs to get some new workers or something because the ones they have are not doing their jobs.

The wait times are ridiculous for when the restaurant is slow. The workers just stand around and talk rather than being productive. My recent experience there reminded me of why I stopped coming the coupe in the first place. I almost wish the kitchen wasn’t open so I wouldn’t have to watch them stand around and do nothing.

It astonishes me how many times this place has messed up my orders. Most of the time it’s in new ways and a lot of the time they do the same mistake over and over again. Worst place on NAU’s campus when it comes to their work and how well they do serving the food
