Place is so understaffed it’s pitiful. Indoor was closed so we had to do drive thru. Ended up sitting for a few min while the couple of employee cleaned out the queue of customers in line. Food was ok, our cinnamon twist had 0 cinnamon and nothing but bitterness from overcooking. Black spots all thru it.

As hard as it may be to believe, my husband and I waited at the drive-thru window for almost 30 minutes for 4 simple burritos off the $2 menu while employees walked around eating. I ended up getting my money back. I’ll NEVER go back to this place and I advise against it for anyone planning a visit. RESPECTFULLY!

Waited over an hr for my food, seems like employees don’t want to work. Or want to get payed for just being there doing nothing. Food was soggy by the time I got my order. The one lady was pretty rude as well. This seems to be the new standard for taco bells as the one on westgate is no different. Sad to say I won’t be spending my time and money on these places anymore.

Worst food I have ever eaten. Took 4 minutes and 47 seconds to be acknowledged in the drive thru. Got to the window and everyone standing around and talking about personal things. No acknowledgement that I was at the window (no hi, sorry about the wait. – nothing). A total of 18 minutes in the drive thru. Steak quesadilla only had one piece of meat with mounds of cheese and not cut. 5-layer burritos had beans cheese and onions (nowhere near a 5-layer). The burrito wraps were cold and hard. The food tasted so bad that when my son bit into his 5-layer, he had to run to the bathroom and throw up. We threw everything away and had to go get food somewhere else. I will not go here again and I would recommend that no one eat at this Taco Bell. There is not enough words to describe how horrible the entire experience was.

I wouldn’t have given a star if I didn’t have to to be able to write a review. I deliver for a major delivery company in the area and every time I’ve had an order to pick up here there’s a problem. For starters the door is ALWAYS locked even if there are 6-7 employees inside doing absolutely nothing but standing around on their phones or playing with their long braids that are supposed to be in hair nets or dancing around laughing while numerous customers are waiting for their orders for a ridiculous amount of time because they were told when they ordered thru the drive thru to pull around and their order will be brought out to them. I waited for 27 minutes after I was told to pull around and wait for my order to be brought to me only to have them give my order to the wrong driver and then they tell me to call my company and let them know that they gave my order to someone else. Like my company can fix Taco Bells mistakes. Not only did they cost me a half hour of my time but they also cost me the $20 for the order. I would highly recommend to avoid this restaurant at all costs and I did report this to my company as well and my company said they had numerous complaints on this restaurant already. The worst part is the customer lost out because they never got their food they paid for someone else to get their order because of these employees negligence. They didn’t care in the least that they messed up and gave the order to the wrong driver. Also I’m definitely not making this a race issue but I was told to pull around and wait but the African American man who went to the window was allowed to wait at the window and was given my order when they knew I was waiting all that time. I am Caucasian by the way. Also I was not the only Caucasian person told to pull around and wait for a ridiculous amount of time there was also 3 other cars with Caucasian people waiting but every African American that went to the window was served at the window promptly and not made to wait like I was, and the other people were. They definitely treat the races differently and that was EXTREMELY obvious.. I will not ever take another order from this restaurant again. I don’t have time to waste only to lose money and the order..

Adding to my review: I ordered a cheese quesadilla with extra cheese and sauce… not only was there zero sauce, but almost half of it had absolutely nothing. No cheese. Nothing. Just crispy dry tortilla. Omg, fairly certain this is because the staff seemed higher than kites. What a waste.

My fiancé and I went here on two separate occasions and we’ll NEVER go back! The first visit, about a 2 weeks ago, they didn’t fill my entire order in which I had paid. I didn’t realize it until I was in standstill traffic on 85-South, headed back to Winston Salem. This second time, we literally waited 25 minutes at the drive-thru window for merely four beefy melts, the $2 burrito, and two drinks. As we waited, employees were walking around eating and handling food barehanded. Ultimately, after almost 30 minutes, I got my money back and went somewhere else. There were six cars trapped behind me in the drive-thru lane. I will NEVER go back. I totally adise anyone considering this place to run for the other border! This ain’t it!

By far the worst Taco Bell in existence. God forbid you pay with cash the staff acts like they’ve never seen a dollar bill before. Extremely rude staff, don’t bother asking for any extra sauces, they’ll roll their eyes and act like doing their basic job duty is an inconvenience and they can’t be bothered to help a customer. Food was trash and the bathroom looked like ww2 Nagasaki. But then again what should I expect from a franchised Taco Bell in Durham. The parent corporation needs to pay attention to this location. The problems here stem from poor staffing and upper management treating their people like trash.
