Have eaten here plenty over the years, first time leaving a review. We went in for the amazingly priced Valentine’s Dinner Special. Party of four, place was packed, still found a table that was open. Waitress greeted us immediately, got our order in right away. Drinks came quick, food was a bit of a wait but it was nearly five and we just took the last open table so that is to be expected. Food was delicious! We all had the 16oz tenderloin and lobster tail. 3 of us thought everything was perfect, one the food connoisseur of the party felt the steak and potatoes were a bit overseased.
IMO, we always have a great steak when we go, I enjoy the open flame taste and it’s always cooked to perfection. As long as we’ve been going and enjoying the burgers and dinners it was high time I told the world how great it is!!

We were on the search for a good fish fry. That’s all we were asking for. We ordered 2 bluegill and 1 perch . The dinner came with fries and coleslaw, rye bread. We were not disappointed. We have been coming up here for 3 years now in Dunbar. We have tried everything from the middle inlet to iron mountain, mi. We finally found our place Generous portions and reasonable pricing. Bonus: they can even make an old fashioned. I mean one would expect that in Wisconsin, but lately it’s been difficult to find.

Nestled in the country is this awesome bar and grill. My burger was tasty and the beer was cold. My only complaint is the bartender. She was rude to us. Told us the grill was closed until 4 bc the cook had to get ready for fish fry but yet someone was eating a burger just a few seats away. She did end up taking our order but the cook brought it out. I do recommend this bar for good food and cold beer.

The staff (and owner) are super friendly. Great food. I love the burgers and my husband loves the pizza. The pretzel bites and beer dip is awesome. The building is a beautiful new log cabin feel. The bathrooms are nice and clean.
This has become one of our favorite stops. I love the feiendly and chill atmosphere.

Great food, great prices. Drink prices are very reasonable, some might even say “cheap” compared to bigger city bars. I’ve had their burgers and their Wednesday night special, 1/2 a broasted chicken with choice of fries or baked potato and coleslaw. Chicken comes to the table super hot right from the fryer, crispy yet still juicy inside. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Awesome cozy country atmosphere with beautiful tongue and groove boards and large wooden beams. Large bar withany windows to look out and enjoy the beautiful wilderness scenery! My Bloody Mary was nothing fancy, but was delicious!

Overall very nice little place! Seemed like we like we were a burden to the bartender. Called ahead to see when they stopped serving, immediately reminded of that when we walked in. We ordered fish and cheeseburger. Fish was below average however burger was tasty!
