Hola Amigos! We have been apart of San Angelo for 45+ years and have continued to cherish and appreciate the love of our customers. Our customers become family over time, my grandmother Sara Chavez Garcia was the founder. She started Pops Bakery torteria with her husband Antonio Garcia in 1940. Sara was a hard worker but most importantly a woman of faith and importance of family. She incorporated love and quality into her businesses. Her daughter, Gina has been running the business now for 35 years and she knows every face that comes in. Come join us and let us make your experience like your own mother would cook for you ! Authentic Mexican food and HOMEMADE TORTILLAS right off the grill, literally! Tamales, Menudo, Gorditas, Street Tacos!

Best breakfast burritos, not only in San Angelo, but in the world! Corner Stop is one of the places I miss most living in NYC, but I always come back for their barbacoa, guiso, chorizo & egg, and of course- their fresh, delicious tortillas. Great service from the best people.

After living in San Angelo for years I finally found my way to this hidden gem, and I was not disappointed. The breakfast burritos are AMAZING, the salsa is wonderful, and the service quick and friendly. I am just sorry I waited so long to come inside. Its not a place to have a sit-down lunch, but if you’re willing to take your food to go, you will be very happy. Best place for Tex-Mex breakfast in San Angelo!

I normally never leave reviews and this is not really something I do. But after being rudely dismissed and spoken to disrespectfully, I felt the need to let others know. This used to be my favorite burrito spot, but after my recent experience, I won’t be returning. I ordered 5 burritos, all with egg. The bag was tied when I received it, but as soon as I opened it, I was hit with a strong, unpleasant egg smell not your typical egg scent, but something closer to rotten. At first, I thought maybe I was overthinking it, but when I opened the first burrito, the eggs were a greenish color and smelled off. I checked the rest of the burritos, and all but one had the same strange smell and color. Only one burrito had eggs that looked and smelled normal. I called the restaurant to let them know about the issue, hoping to give them a heads up. Instead, I was met with a dismissive attitude. The woman I spoke with insisted their eggs are made fresh daily and brushed off my concern completely. Despite the clear signs of spoiled food, there was no concern shown. I went back to return the burritos and ask for a refund, and again, I was treated rudely. The woman at the front ignored what I was saying and acted as though I was just trying to cause problems. I’m extremely disappointed not just because of the bad food, but because of how poorly I was treated. Eggs should not look green or smell rotten.

Meat was undercooked on my first burrito and my second burrito they didn’t add the cheese that they charged me for. When asking for more salsa they told my DoorDash carrier no and was very rude about it. They gave me one salsa for 2 burritos?
