Today, I purchased the Original Smoke House meal. The mash potatoes were delicious. However, the chicken tasted horrible. From experiences at other locations the chicken was a rotisserie type. But, the one I was given today was like bake chicken with a greasy sauce on it. It was moist but very bland. I asked the cashier why the chicken looked and tasted the way it did. She responded that’s the way we make it here at this location. If you like the Smoke House chicken don’t buy it at this location.

I order a 12-piece mixed chicken. I ordered mashed potatoes and fries with it and got coleslaw instead of the fries. Of course I did not find this out until I get home in which I live Beaumont. I open my box to a surprise that there was one piece of chicken in there that was darker than the other. And the breast and wings was extremely dry and hard. I just retired this year from the restaurant management industry. The passion for the business is going down further and further. I guess I have to do like everybody else start checking my food before I leave from here on. What a shame, we used to do so much better. I guess one day we’ll have the right people in place, when we have the robots taken our orders.

Gave me chicken no skin had a coupon was rung up wrong coupon said 3 pc dark i small mash got 2 pc thigh no skin and one leg cashier wasn’t very inviting pulled up to wait had to drive back around to get my order right

I went the other afternoon to order a family meal. They said that there were only two biscuits left and that the manager was at Walmart getting biscuits….
I said not a problem can you just sub it for something else? The assistant manager was not sure, so she said she would call her manager.
The assistant manager came back and said her manager said no, we can not sub the biscuits for anything else.
So I’m like ??? What next?
She said I could wait for them to drop more biscuits and it would be 15 mins….
Soo which is it… you have biscuits and they are just not baked, or your manager is out buying biscuits because you’re out?
And why exactly couldn’t you sub it with something else???
I could understand if it was just that they were really busy and she had to drop some more, but the statement given to me made it seem like there was just no biscuits and the manager was out buying some.
So my options were wait 15 minutes for biscuits that you supposedly didn’t have.. or just not have biscuits and Church’s could just care less that I paid for them. Those are not options…. I don’t know what is going on with customer service as far as new managers go, but this is not it. I decided to go to chicken express. I won’t be back here for a hot minute.
What’s sad is I chose Church’s because we get bad customer service at Popeyes.
The last time we went to Church’s, the jalapeno poppers were pretty much empty. I’m not sure what is going on with this location
