I know there’s hype for other gyro places around town – which I’ve tried and are good – but I just have to say, the very best in town is still Garden Greek Grill on Rutherford.
The staff are SO nice and they give such huge portions. Everything is good quality – the meat, sauce, toppings, rice, all of it. And the hummus is so good that I could eat it with a spoon.
So if you like gyros and like having the toppings (tabbouleh salad, veggies, onion, feta) in EVERY bite, then you gotta go to Garden Greek Grill.

The food here is absolutely amazing. Like, best Greek food I’ve ever had. I’ve had everything from the best falafel in NYC, to a super expensive Greek meal in Vancouver, this place is the best. While the inside isn’t anything special, and neither is the outside, the staff isn’t friendly but isn’t rude, you come here for the food, and the food is amazing. The portions are huge for what you pay for and the quality is always fresh and made to order. Will definitely come back!
