this the 2nd time I ordered for delivery and got the wrong order, the 1st time I ordered I got the wrong soup and meat and no drink, instead of chicken they gave me 2small fatty beef meat. I even called twice in advance to make sure they don’t mess my order again and the older guy called “Zee” assured me I’ll be fine only to realize It was a Lie, i got the wrong soup and meat again. They never even gave me the 5$ Ginger juice drink he said I would, instead gave me 1$ ginger ale can soda!? This was no mistake but intentional,rude and disrespectful. You can see the food presentation itself looks messy n small like Cat food, it went to the trash. I had to order again from a different restaurant on the same belair rd. Be warned!

My first time getting takeout here last night & the food was good and hot! I only took a few bites when I left (due to my fast) and it knocked me right out lol. The cashier was very nice and patient with me while taking my order, and I didn’t wait long for the food to come out either. The plantains were soft and sweet just how I like it. The jollof rice was good, but I would’ve loved it to be super spicy (I love very spicy foods lol) but the curry goat was very spicy just like I requested & the meat was tender and juicy. Very reasonable prices too! If takeout slaps like that, I could only imagine what the dine-in experience will give I will definitely be back!!

Hidden gym in Baltimore! Don’t expect the red carpet treatment; however, staff are helpful in assisting you with making a food selection. Very clean and great musical vibes.

Food: every-time I’ve come, I’ve always tried to order something different. To try new and exotic things. Always happy and satisfied. FLAVORFUL, tender, and hot. I have no complaints. The food has gotten smaller over the last year but I’m still left satisfied.

They give wayyyy too much rice with not enough of everything else. My container was packed with jollof rice. I also had plantain and 2 pieces of goat meat. With barely any meat on it. I could’ve just ordered a side of rice if I just wanted rice. My friend really enjoyed all of his food. Freshly prepared food. Just not happy with the way the servings were divided.

My food was fresh and delicious! I only got chicken and rice, but it was good! Chicken was nice and spicy, the plantain and was rice was nicely seasoned. I would definitely go back and get more.

I can honestly say that the last couple of times I’ve visited the service has drastically improved. Thankfully, they made an improvement to the interior for it to be more inviting & it smells soooo much better. Before, I’d be holding my breath when I entered as the smell was beyond overpowering & stuck to your clothes also. You get ample portions of jollof rice & the meat pieces are big as well. I do wish that they filled up the Egusi & other soup portions in the bowl. I always have to pick out bones though in the Egusi soup before I attempt to eat it. It’s better to pay with cash as they charge a fee on top of tax to use a card. Parking is on the street & usually non-existent.

Comments: It was our first time trying and it was very good and unique. The fufu had a great consistency and the soup tasted very good. Price was affordable for amount of food.

Media Matters

I came from out of state with my family and decided to eat lunch here. The restaurant was cozy, cool and quiet. We ordered white rice and stew, Oha soup and egusi soup. Our food arrived few minutes later pipping hot and delicious! It reminded us of Nigeria. The food was so delicious that we wanted to thank the chef — the owner.

We ordered more for takeout and can’t wait to return again. The food was reasonably priced too.
