This place is a little hidden gem. The food is absolutely fresh and delicious every single time I come here. They have the BEST onion rings I’ve ever had in my entire life, they are hand made. The servers are always friendly and pleasant, the place is always clean and the prices are fair. ***HIGHLY RECOMMEND***

Cozy place to eat, pretty much home cooking. They have a nice menu selection, desserts, ice cream, daily specials, lots of side to choose from. It is a great little local place to go. Great staff, very friendly. Smaller place, so you might have to wait a bit when you get there. Parking lot is a but awkward, so be patient.

Just visiting the area, we stumbled upon this local owned & operated restaurant. By far its One the best Homestyle restaurants Ive been to in a long time. The service was top notch all the way. Not a huge seating area SO BE PATIENT. The servers bust their butts doing it all..AGAIN HAVE PATIENCE!! Whoever the woman Chef was in the kitchen is spot on with what we ordered. Our compliments!!! We didn’t try any of the wide assortment of in-house made desserts, but wow they looked amazing! Prices are reasonable for the amount you get! We will be back before heading back to SC

What a wonderful, hidden gem on the back roads of the Poconos. We saw this quaint family restaurant on our way to a nearby antique store (Back Roads Antiques), and immediately bookmarked it as our lunch spot. Walking in, it looks like a typical, average, small diner. But it’s anything BUT average. The menu isn’t huge, but gives you more than enough options to satisfy most people. After a few minutes of looking, I chose an old favorite – the hot roast beef sandwich with gravy (and one side). I picked french fries since I LOVE gravy fries. Keep in mind that I’m pushing 60 and have had more than my fair share of this plate over the years when I say that it was, without a doubt, the BEST hot roast beef sandwich I’ve ever had! The roast beef was tender and piled high in the bread. The gravy was fantastic! The fries crispy. This was a true homemade sandwich. Which leads me to point out that EVERYTHING on the menu is homemade. My wife had the roast beef croissant and loved it!

What a gem of a place! Has the look of a little diner but surprises you with a proper fine dining menu at very reasonable prices. Had the bbq pork loin chops, so tender and well seasoned, absolutely delicious. Service was so friendly as well, made for a great experience. If I lived closer, this would be a great restaurant to go to regularly.

Outstanding! (Both the food and service.) My husband and I got there 10 min before closing (we didn’t note the closing time before heading out) and they still seated us! No one acted annoyed or inconvenienced.. the food was exceptional! It tasted like a home cooked meal. Even the iced tea was perfect. Additionally, our waitress was kind and made sure we had everything we needed until the end (again without trying to rush us.) I’d come back here anytime we’re in the area!

Friendly staff. We came here expecting them to have all day breakfast but they do not so be aware of that. We showed up around 3pm. A party of two. My friend ordered a open faced roast beef manhattan and I ordered the chicken fingers. The mashed potatoes and gravy were really good here. We also tried the mozzarella and it was interesting. They deep fry a grilled cheese. It could have used more seasoning or cheeses. The chicken tenders were really good and hand breaded and the buffalo sauce with them was very tasty. This is kind of a small space so it can be a little tight if you’re big or tall.

Wonderful little hole in the wall, definitely off the beaten path. This is in an area where there is almost NO cell reception, so know where you are going as your GPS might cut out on you. Its easy to find. We passed this on the way to the candle store and antique shop just down the road. We asked at the candle shop and they said this was a good place to eat….and it was. Had the sense that this is where the locals go. We were there a on the cusp of breakfast and lunch. We got breakfast. Wife got the creamed chipped beef and it was very tasty, no your usual pasty white floury goo with the occasional bit of dried beef…this is the real deal. We shared a piece of French toast which was done nicely (more cinnamon!) I had a traditional breakfast with scrapple. (look it up those of you from parts unknown). The scrapple was made at a local meat company. I have to imagine that the lunch menu would be just as good. All in all, yes, its diner food, but its diner food done well. I think I am the first to review this place…how fortunate.
