Construction Zone restaurant is totally underrated!!! This place is amazing. The construction themed restaurant is great for kids but adults can enjoy themselves at the same time. Watch a game and have great food & drinks!!! The staff were super amazing and friendly!!! Definitely another go to spot when we go back to Florida!!

Such a great restaurant! From the moment I requested the excavator table and they quickly obliged, to showing up and the service provided by Susan, the experience was wonderful. As soon as we walked in, the kids were given (plastic) hard hats and “clocked in” for work (the only thing missing was the company logo on the time cards). I loved all of the little construction area details around the restaurant. Even the large table with wood sticking up was called “Waist Management.”

Susan was so friendly and great with the kids. Although the restaurant wasn’t busy, I can tell that she would’ve given them just as much attention even if it was busy. Later on, her coworker gave them construction vests and they pretended to do some work.

Note – Susan was also just awesome overall. I asked for apple juice like the kids and she asked if I’d rather have orange juice because I was sick and coughing (we had talked about it earlier in the visit – not contagious, etc). YES! After the meal, she told me the kids’ meal came with ice cream – out of earshot of the kids so I could decide if they’d get it. And she asked if I wanted some for my throat. Seriously amazing service.

All in all, it was a great experience, definitely recommended, and we look forward to coming back in the future!

This is a hidden gem! Our young kids LOVED the wonderfully constructed theme of the restaurant. After “punching in” and picking a construction helmet, our son gravitated to the excavator bucket booth. There’s so much to look at and even has some great photo opportunities. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the chicken girders – super crispy and delicious alongside natural cut fries. Highly recommend a visit!

We had a social group anniversary party here recently. The Construction Zone was super easy to work with and accommodated 35 ladies for dinner. Everyone enjoyed dinner which was served timely and fresh, and our servers were very nice and friendly. I’ve had dinner here before and enjoyed it. Portions are large enough to have lunch the next day from leftovers. The restaurant is themed like an actual construction site. Look around end enjoy the small touches that make everything authentic.

What a cool restaurant! Upon arriving, children are given hard hats and clock in. You really feel like you are entering a construction zone. Booths have some fun information like blueprints and things like that. Food was good, nothing special. But the service was amazing.

It looks super cute, and the kids will like the stuff on the wall, but unfortunately there is no construction “play” area like you assume there would be for a place clearly geared towards kids. But they do get cute hats and can wear construction vests while there.
The food was unfortunately not good. The kids Mac n cheese was soupy, chicken tenders subpar, and my husband’s steak was all fat and no meat. I had the fish and chips which was decent, and someone else in our party said the burger was excellent. Parent to parent: go for the vibes but make sure you order the burger to stay safe.

We visited today with our 5-year-old son and he absolutely loved it—and so did we! The attention to detail in the décor is incredible and really makes the experience special. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. We even had the chance to meet the owner, who was a pleasure to talk to and shared the thoughtful inspiration behind the design. Such a great experience all around. We’ll definitely be back!

We live about an hour and a half from Orlando and where in the area and looked up family friendly spots. Our 2 kids are not that adventurous culinarily speaking. That ruled out so many of my top choices but when they both saw a review and pictures for the construction zone both my daughters said YES!! That hardly ever happens so we knew right then that we would be eating lunch there. Overall a great spot that I highly recommend for those visiting the area and want to try something different. Food was just as expected. We would definitely return, especially with out of town family with kids.

Review: Construction-Themed Restaurant

I had a great time at this construction-themed restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an atmosphere that creatively blends industrial design with a casual, fun vibe. It’s a playful concept that sets the tone for an enjoyable meal.

The Blackened Cod Fish Tacos were absolutely delicious —flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Hand-Cut Fries were crispy and delicious, the perfect side to go with the tacos.

To top it all off, I paired my meal with a glass of Moscato. It was sweet and refreshing, the ideal complement to the savory tacos and fries.

The service was excellent. My server, Tonya, was attentive and made sure everything was just right.

What an amazing concept! From the moment you walk in and have to “clock in” as a construction worker, you know you’re in for a fun experience. The whole place is designed like a high rise under construction and the details are incredible — you can even eat inside a truck, a container, or the bucket of an excavator!

The staff is super friendly and really brings the theme to life with their energy. The menu is diverse and delicious with great vegetarian options as well. The food came out super fast which made the experience even better.

It’s also very family friendly. Kids can dress up, play, and feel like part of the construction crew, which makes the outing extra special.

Overall, it’s not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Highly recommend it if you’re in Orlando or visiting Margaritaville — definitely a must try spot!
