Our made to order burgers & delicious shakes are a huge hit among the Northern Virginia crowd, and since opening our 1st location in Chantilly, we became a favorite lunch spot, dinner date & weekend meal for thousands of families, couples and hungry people throughout Northern Virginia. All three of our locations ( Ashburn ,Chantilly and Alexandria) are different styles, but all serve the same delicious food that The Burger Shack is known for! We use the best ingredients available- fresh and never frozen! Delicious variety and extensive menu. Vegetarian options, gluten free options…great food and service! My second visit to this restaurant (opened on Christmas Day). We had the cheeseburgers, freshly cooked but a bit dry, chicken strips – made from pieces of reconstituted boneless chicken meat, tater-tots with cheese w/white sauce, curly fries and sweet potato fries. There’s a self-serve ketchup pump dispenser. The food was good and filling. The strawberry shake was lacking the “strawberry” taste. The overall cooking and service counter was clean and well built. Outside picnic tables needs to be replaced.

This was a fantastic burger! Super delicious and loved the toppings. Fried pickle were I independent delicious. My burger was unfortunately a but under done for my liking, but the flavor was still incredible. I look forward to eating here again when I visit the area next

The burger was thick, juicy and well seasoned. Their tomatoes were snappy and fresh not grainy and soggy. The buns were high quality and the right size for the patty. They even ask you how you want your patty cooked. The loaded tots were great and they give you big portions at a reasonable price and the milkshake was creamy and thick. This meal was so full filling I had to pull over and take a nap while driving home. 10/10

Wow! The burgers are juicy, seasoned and cooked well. I was pleasantly surprised! The veggies on the burger were fresh and cheese nice and melted. Fries taste fresh and are nicely seasoned too: like a Boardwalk fry style. Freshly sliced!
Hot dog is HUGE – my daughter only ate half!

Got here for the first time. I’m really happy with the food. I got the build your own with curly fries. The burger was well charred and cooked. Fries were great as well. The location is also great with nice music and great ambiance. There seems to be an outdoors section but was rainy and could not sit outside. The service was ok. Will come again.

The best burger I’ve ever had! Ordered the Philly burger, and it was cooked to perfection, onions was amazing. Fries were just as amazing as well! Went for lunch/dinner with a huge group of people and the wait wasnt that long. They had great energy and didnt mind 15+ people!! Highly recommend this place!!! Definitely will be coming back!!!

I am a chili cheese fries connoisseur. Growing up in Cali we had some bomb chili cheese fries at Michael’s in Irwindale.
We moved to Oklahoma and now I chase that childhood satisfaction. But I found it’s hard to find anything that compares.
I saw a picture of the chili cheese fries at this location and had to stop in and try em. The chili and the cheese is pretty good. But the fries lack. They tasted like they were reheated. So that made the whole dish unpleasant. Sad. Paid almost $10 for a big to-go plate of just chili cheese fries.

If you are looking for an amazing burger that is cooked to order, then this is the burger joint for you. I have been to this restaurant many times and never had an issue. I always get the Ring of Fire Burger. If you enjoy hot/spicy, then give it a try. French fries always come out hot and fresh.
Bathrooms were clean, and the paintings on the front of the doors were cool.
Would highly recommend this burger restaurant to anyone that is in the mood for a great burger.

Unfortunately, it was not a good experience for our first time here. We came at 9:43PM Est. and was told we could come in. We get to the register to place and order, and the guy in charge working the frontline told us we can order, but we would have to take our order to go. I asked them what time they closed, and he said 10:00PM. I said what about the lobby and he said 10:00PM. I said we can’t stay and eat? He said by the time we make your food and get it to you, it will be close to 10PM, and that’s why you have to take your food. It’s sad because we had 7 people with us, and we were hungry and actually drove an hour out of our way to eat here. We did not eat here, but we took our business else where.
