The food was the best I’ve had from ANY Common Man and I’ve been to many. The Filet Mignon wonderful. The Newburyport seafood platter (think that’s what it was called) oh my, oh my….was to relish forever! SERIOUSLY! You won’t be disappointed. The wine was a perfect fit. The fire was constantly feed at the right time. Such a fantastic place.

Sat at the bar with no wait and started with a glass of wine. A wedding party was celebrating, which added a sweet touch to the atmosphere. The rustic barn vibes create a warm, inviting setting, and I loved the help yourself cheese and crackers table. The arancini was crisp and paired beautifully with a rich cream sauce. The Caesar salad with steak tips was on the pricey side for a salad, but the steak tips were juicy and cooked to perfection. Overall, a wonderful experience with excellent food and a great atmosphere.

KEVIN IS UNBELIEVABLE. The manager helped me and my daughters widen the table so we could continue playing a fun game of “Clue” while eating our dinner on cozy couches! This is the kind of customer service makes your heart sing which unfortunately we don’t see often enough! I’m so grateful this kind of humanity still exists. Kalei was our server and was super responsive and attentive. Everything from start to finish was exactly what we hope for!

We frequent this restaurant for the warm, homey atmosphere. I love that there are two floors with a balcony to look below. The little nooks with the couches are so cozy! Perfect for a family meal, intimate date, or a group of friends! My favorite Dish is the Lobster corn chowder! Looking forward to stopping in again soon! Thank you for having us!

Celebrated my wife’s Birthday there last night. Our waitress Ariana was outstanding!. Her attentiveness and positive attitude made this night awesome! She anticipated our needs and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her suggestions were spot on. She made us feel right at home.

We were coming from an outdoor holiday farm ride. We were all cold and likely underdressed but we went anyway to warm up and get some food. We were not disappointed. All four of the kids with us got steak tips. I got lobster corn chowder and my wife roasted pepper bisque. Both delicious! My wife got the tuna and noodle plate is was great and I got the chicken burrata. Man what a flavor bomb. Theres some standard fare but with a flare. Theres steaks with some sort of compound butter or onion jam or something to set it apart from other places. The down to earth atmosphere is also great. Arianna was our server and she was fantastic. Kudos to her as well

Love the Common Man, stop a couple to 3 times a month on way home from work. But, tonight, 5/5/25, NOT A GOOD NIGHT FOR COMMON MAN! Ordered Shrimp appetizer; fair, bread or whatever underneath smothered to the bone with the sauce, too, too much, took away from Shrimp. Uncommon Wedge salad, very good. Apple Walnut Chicken Entree; chicken very good, green beans limp and mashed potatoes a brown brick with too many pieces of skin and someone was very liberal with salt to point inedible. (My tongue is still stinging from salt.) Lemon Blueberry Cake; they forgot to put blueberries in batter. And finally, rolls were hard as a rock, no bread as requested, also no cheese and crackers as requested. For $71.63 in food, which basically was chicken and salad only editable, very surprisingly disappointing! It will be a while before next visit, very bummed!
