Every time I come here, the staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome.
It’s located in La Victoria, which is a really nice area, and they even have spots where you can charge your phone.

My boyfriend and i went in yesterday evening to order 2 coffees, both very basic, and the girl that was taking our orders was very standoffish and rude. Her name tag said she was the shift leader, i believe her name was Delilah or something along those lines, and for a shift leader you’d expect decent service. We both thanked her afterwards and were polite, but you could tell she was not at all happy to be there and ignored our thank yous. We were both so thirsty and were planning on asking for water but we didn’t want to inconvenience her any further.

I was not expecting such tasty coffee! I only drink black coffee so this is how I judge a place. I can only imagine it gets better if one is having a more complex drink. Much better than ***rbucks. The staff is super friendly as well as helpful.

Didn’t try any of the liquid candy bars, but the food is barely food, made in some factory. The bathroom was disgusting and the soap dispenser didn’t work. Luckily the water was hot, and I nearly scalded my hands in the near boiling hot water. The steam warned me to turn it down slightly before washing them.

Great location, good employees, however the coffee is never as hot as Starbucks coffee. Starbucks make their coffee fresh, each cup. Coffee bean lets it stay in a dispenser so it is never hot enough. Wish they would keep it hot.

Nice to see locals gathering together in their local coffee shops. ☕️ Beautiful day today. Ready to hit the road for home with two great cups of coffee. An Americano for my husband, and a Hot Mocha Latte with Whip for me. We always look forward to our coffees when we come visit in SoCal. It’s just unfortunate that though I have the App, I can’t peruse Rewards because they expire before I return to a CBTL. We have none in NorCal. I suggest that they be good for at least a year to use. Please consider this. After all, we’ve made the purchase already required to earn points & rewards, so they shouldn’t expire.

Been a few years since I’ve stepped in here (see original review below when I was paying retail), surprised to see they are now on 2g2g, decided to try my luck and grab a couple of surprise bags and thought it was nice of them to give 1.5hr window for collection. I worked late and managed to only arrive almost at 9p, surprised to see there were a few groups of people hanging out in there.
Showed the app to one of the girls, she said they didn’t have any surprise bags for that day…, now how is that my problem? I thought to myself. I told her that if they didn’t have any, they should have cancelled the orders well before collection time as I made quite a drive to get there. She then said she’ll text her manager.
After a good 10mins, she came back out and the manager gave 2 options, get credit back thru the app or they’ll give the surprise bags even though there are no “waste” that day. Of course I went for second option, I mean c’mon that was the whole objective of me being there
