We pride ourselves in making the freshest small batched handmade Ice Cream, just like the good ol’ days using real cream, quality ingredients, rock salt + ice; 5 gallons at a time!
We make all of our ice cream in shop, everyday, producing one of a kind flavors varying from traditional to unique.
Currently we have three ice cream shops. Two in Montana; Virginia City and West Yellowstone and our newest shop is in Cave Creek, Arizona. We also have an ice cream truck that we take to festivals/concerts/special events and more! We are open seasonally in Montana (May- September) and year round in Arizona!

Highly recommended!!! Awesome homemade ice cream place which is always busy with ice cream lovers situated in the West Yellowstone town. Has a decent variety of icecream flavours. Top of all is the locally famous “Huckleberry Honey Lavender” flavour. Had it 2 times in my 4 day trip and still not over it! Must try and I bet you won’t stop with one scoop!

Highly recommend The City Creamery! Probably the best tasting ice cream I have ever had! The huckleberry lavender ice cream is so delicious. I wish we had something like it back in Oklahoma because now I know I’ll be craving it once we head back lol.

I was disappointed with my ice cream. It was more ice than cream. I had the Cowboy Coffee. It looked like they were scraping the bottom so that could have been why it was more ice. Overall it isn’t ice cream to write home about. I’d recommend trying Haagen Daz across the street.

The ice cream shop was a trip to see. The noise of the machines making their homemade ice creams was a treat to see motion. The many different choices of favors to choose from, too! My wife got the Cowboy’s coffee ice cream. She was happy with it. I didn’t take video of the experience, but I should have. Try some ice cream if your in town!
