The Chipper business opened initially in 2004 as a food truck catering to the Irish in the neighborhood but as time went on we realized that we cater to everyone. We had so many people from all walks of life and all nationalities. We loved it. Given the fact that I’m Irish and my husband Mexican. We related to a lot of people. So our business expanded to Yonkers. Opening in 2014 in Yonkers. We continuously listen to our customers and try and give them what they want. No matter how crazy the order . We’re not perfect but we try our best ❤️. Our truck is still going strong in Woodlawn Bronx. I hope you can stop by and try our food some day ❤️

Ordered delivery the other day after seeing their intriguing menu. Sometimes it’s hard to find a good Irish or British sausage in this area and I saw a lot of classics on the menu like black pudding, chip butties (french fry sandwich with butter), along with a big list of sandwiches named after customers.

Avoid the Chipper Truck if possible. I ordered food to stay with my family. What a mistake… I ordered chicken curry and I while I was somewhat disappointed by the congealed state of the curry, I was actually unable to eat the rice. It tasted either old or uncooked, either way the rice was not soft and I skipped eating the rice. I felt sick from eating the food the next day, so I probably should have skipped eating the chicken as well.

I came in and ordered a Philly cheesesteak and what I got was a wedge with just meat and peppers and mushrooms. So I called and said there was no cheese on the meat and the young girl who answered the phone told me they would make me a new one so I leave my house again and go there and I open up the wedge and there is still no cheese on the meat!! They had cheese in the bread and I told her again this is t what I ordered ! She then tells me that they don’t melt the cheese on meat! I won’t be ordering from there ever again!
