My family and I were extremely delighted by the taste, portion size and presentation of the tasting menu. I did not but my husband, my mother and my father all did wine pairing and were raving about the quality all the way home. Absolutely nothing negative to say. We will definitely come back. A nice addition to the menu: espresso coffee and perhaps some non alcoholic beverages, otherwise Chef behind the curtain is a gem which deserves all the praises customers provide. It is really a one of a kind place in our neck of the woods.

What can I say, it was a 745pm reservation and at the last minute I went from a 1 guest to a 2 guest table and they were smiles no matter what I’m sure grumbling in the background. However Joel and Staff were more than accommodating and just the most lovely people to deal with, especially since I order for 2 people with different dishes and my date ordered for himself. I wanted full experience of wines and all the food and it did not disappoint. The chef came out and sat and laughed and we talked about ingredients and food overall. I highly recommend this place as a date night or just for a great meal. Joel and staff understand casual chic and how to please your palate. I can’t believe this is in Snohomish County! It is a must go to see and taste.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience here!! Would highly recommend for any special occasion! We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and everything was PERFECT!! Delicious food, tasty wine, beautiful music and wonderful people! Ashley and Katie were so great at making recommendations for food/wine and just great to chat with!! And bonus points that all the wines are sourced from Blanc & Rouge right up the street, so we were able to go buy some of the wines we loved!! Looking forward to our next visit!

Instant fans and we will be back over and over again. It’s a prix fix menu but with choices and upgrades available. And the price is completely fair for what is being served. In fact most similar places in town would cost the same when you consider apps, entrees and dessert. We loved every dish. We loved the service. We loved the wine pairing. Plus they can sell wine (and dessert wine) by the glass but that isn’t advertised. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

We had a lovely meal at Chef Behind the Curtain. All of the food was delicious, well balanced, interesting. The wines were great and staff super friendly. Very cozy atmosphere, perfect for a date night. We made the drive from Seattle and will be doing so again in the future.

Enjoyed another fabulous meal with friends here last week. Of course, I jumped into dessert and finished before I could get a picture But it was just as beautiful and delicious as each of the other courses. The wine pairings seem like they are improving with every visit and the chef is great at accommodating dietary restrictions. Highly recommend! Thanks Joel and Bex for hosting and serving up such an amazing evening! We will be back.

The food at Chef Behind the Curtain is exceptional! We have attended both the 7 course farm to table dinner with wine paring and bunch! The Chef is so creative and each dish was mouth watering! I love the service at this place and the Chef is so friendly with the guests and always take time to offer the best quality of ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back over and over again!

Entering the place, you automatically realize that this is very intimate. Immediately greeted and made feel right at home. The 3 course meal comes with wine pairings if you like. The scallops and salmon appetizer was perfect. The halibut for the main course was a generous serving with amazing flavor. I was too full for dessert but was talked into trying the homemade ice cream. WOW.
