To the franchisee of this establishment,
You need to get your management in order when you’re not present, because your employees are taking advantage of paying customers and the service is noticeably suffering.
As shown in the photos below, these are the three regular curly fries that we ordered. I would like an explanation for how these portions qualify as “regular,” because they clearly do not.
I’m not asking for a refund or sympathy — I’m letting you know exactly how your establishment operates when you’re not around. This is unacceptable for a business serving paying customers.

I hate to leave these types of reviews but here it goes.
I have been to the Cheese Steak Shop in San Remon several times and have always enjoyed the food. And today was no different. The Cheese Steak was exactly what I have come to expect from a Cheese Steak Shop, the best Cheese Steaks I have have had outside of Philly.
We were warmly greeted and order taking was without issues.
But the place was filthy. Tables needed to be cleaned; there was food on the floor; the condiment area needed to be cleaned and restocked; and the fountain drink dispenser had mold/slime behind and below the ice push. The found drinks were also unbalanced, with more seltzer than syrup.
There were three staff on the clock and instead of taking care of the store during the downtime (between customers — it was a slow time) all three were on their phones.
When I went up to get a bag to take the rest of my order, I noticed the kitchen area didn’t seem well-organized (like it has in the past) or clean.
It was very sad because I really enjoy The Cheese Steak Shop and with a little effort, it could have been such a much better experience…probably a 5-star review.

Grease blew bottom of foil bag out. One expects some greasiness, but damn… Picture says it all. 2 stars because workers were cool, at least.

When I moved into the Bay Area back in 1998 in Pleasanton I started to go to The Cheesesteak Shop and I haven’t stopped since then. Great place to get a Philly cheese steak sandwich and some curly fries. The staff is friendly and the cost is just right. Come check it out!

These are good cheese steaks. How they are meant it to be! Bread is soft, meat is good. Get the onions and hot peppers. Staff were really chill. Don’t forget to tip!

I initially went in here because my 4 year old needed to use the bathroom and the place next door wouldn’t let us. On my way out I went to buy fries because I was grateful. Tim told me I didn’t have to, he would have let us use it anyway. He was super nice and I will definitely make it a point to come back for a whole meal sometime. The fries and onion rings were good, the cheesesteak looked and smelled amazing too.

We placed an order over the phone for pick up. Gave instructions what we wanted on all 4 sandwiches and fries, a young fellow was very rude and took our order. Not an inch of customer service in him (DONOVAN). Arrived to pick up our order. DONOVAN greeted with the silent treatment, not even greeting the customers walking in. He was busy chatting with the younger gentlemen preparing the sandwiches. I ask him is the order correct with what we wanted on each sandwich. His reply was Yea, I paid and left. Arrived home and had a feeling that it was not correct, sure enough, they made the sandwich whichever way they felt. Now this will be the third time I have given your establishment an opportunity. ( I have all receipts, pictures, dates and times to match every wrong order. I hope you read this and make some some changes in the way you hire especially being an absentee operator which is going to kill your business.
