Gallettes is one of the longest-standing bars on the Strip in Tuscaloosa — a bona fide college bar with roots stretching back to 1976. It’s probably best known for its signature drink, the Yellow Hammer — a strong but deceptively fruit-flavored vodka cocktail served in the classic yellow plastic cups.

Came here to sip on the Yellowhammers before Bama rolled Ole Miss! The place was packed but there was still plenty of room to roam around and post up to chat.

This place used to be a tradition. The management here has destroyed my love to come here. Expecting people to pay a $50 + cover fee to also pay $15 for a drink is absolutely insane. I have enough cups now. I’ll make my own.

Management has ruined a wonderful piece of history and tradition. Not worth going here anymore. On top of that they literally couldn’t care less about their bartenders so do business elsewhere. It’ll be worth it.

The dance floor at Gallettes is also noteworthy. It’s the best in Tuscaloosa, and they have a great sound system and lighting to create the perfect ambiance for a night out.
Wine Wednesdays at Gallettes is also a must-attend event. The specials on wine are amazing and the atmosphere is perfect for a night out with friends.
The atmosphere at Gallettes was also great. The bar had a lively and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a casual night out.
I highly recommend Gallettes bar for their staff, drinks and dance floor. It’s the best night out in Tuscaloosa. I will definitely be returning to this bar and highly recommend it to others.

Poor experience and the worst service I’ve ever received at a bar. Bought a pass online and they refused to let me into the bar because the “fast pass” line gained priority. The bouncer was very rude to myself and everyone in my group. Not to mention he was probably under age. As an alumni I’m very upset how poorly I was treated.
