Really cool little pub in the Canterbury Village. The whole place almost feels frozen in time somehow. It’s not big inside, but there’s a lot of outdoor seating – probably about half their capacity. Feels more family oriented, that it’s still a cool place to drop in at. Some of the food is overpriced ($6 for 3 small semi-microwaved pretzels), but others seem pretty fair ($6 for a big plate of delicious cheese bread with side sauces). They have some great specials posted as well.

We had a pretty terrible experience here on Saturday. We had to wait forever for our food and on top of that we were charged a gratuity fee to be served on the patio, yet they wouldn’t even serve us. We came in to check on our food after 40 minutes of waiting and it was sitting in to go boxes and bags waiting for us, semi warm. Who knows how long it was sitting there. The worse part was though that all 4 of us had some sort of stomach issues later in the evening and early the following morning. One of us had the burger and could hardly tell it was beef and three of us had chicken tenders that didn’t resemble chicken in the slightest. The texture was that of a sponge. We were super disappointed with the service, quality, food, and on top of that making us all sick in some way. Will never eat here again.

I love the atmosphere here and it is usually not packed. Service has always been good. The pizza looked excellent. I had a burger and it was alright, the fries were the type that comes frozen in a bag, and just okay, fresh fries would be a huge improvement.

The food is pretty bland and typical “refried frozen food.” What’s worse is the customer service. We ordered some chicken tenders and fries to go because we were hoping to be be able to walk around during an outdoor event. The food took almost a half hour to come out. People who had sat down After we ordered were getting served their food. I asked the waitress and she said ours was up next. Used the restroom and waited at least another 10 minutes when finally she walks up and says” this is your food” that had been sitting out and was cold. No one said anything about it to us even though she knew we were waiting. Not one apology or offer to make it right…and she seemed annoyed somehow at us? Will never go back to this place.

Stopped in on a Friday night for “all you can eat fish”. Arrived at about 8:40pm, waitress pointed out the “all you eat fish”. 3 of us ordered it. Food got to us at about 9:00. At about 9:15 I requested more fish, which is when the waitress informed us that the kitchen was closed. After some confused looks, she said she would talk to the chef. She came back and said he would make some more. It arrived and seemed to be undercooked and not very hot. I’m guessing the frier was turned off the the oil was just warm enough to cook a few pieces. I’m just confused why they would offer all you can eat, when they know the kitchen is closing in 10 minutes? Or why the waitress wouldn’t come out and ask us for last call? The first batch of fish and fries were good, so no complaints about the food, but it seems that they have a management problem.

Great all you can eat fish on Friday night for $9.95. I liked everything about the place, it was not crowded, servers were fast and responsive to requests of our group of ~20. I felt that it was a little bit cold just a little below comfortable. Other than that it was great, I’m going to visit again.

The staff is wonderful, bartender wait staff etc. Drink specials are on the mirror behind the bar which gets rotated often. Every time I order food it has been phenomenal. From the fried pickles to the chicken burger to the pizza. If you can get up there on a night when there’s something happening like Wednesday night DJ Trivia, it’s a blast jumping into a game to compete with the regulars. The regulars up there are phenomenal and a diverse group. After the first time coming to the bar I fell in love!

Went to dinner here last night. It was the first time I had eaten here and it will be my last. We never received our drinks. Our appetizers came and we had eaten them and finished them and still no drinks. I asked the server where our drinks were and he stated he was sorry the ticket was lost and needed to reorder our drinks which took another ten minutes. Another 20 minutes goes by no food. Asked server where our food was and he stated that again the ticket was lost and needed to retake our order. The food was mediocre at best. So disappointed with the terrible service and food and the way were treated.
