This is a cute little place in Downtown Butternut. It’s a small room and only a few, very nice employees. Ordered the waffles, which were crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. Chocolate chips were good. Pancake was large tall and fluffy, though a little dark. Delicious frozen strawberries on top. Bacon good and crispy. Got some hash browns loaded up, golden and still soft. Exactly how i like them. They aren’t crispy for you crispy hash brown lovers so keep that in mind, but I’m sure you can request it more well done. Really care about the customers. Cook separated a bunch of eggs for a family who wanted just egg whites. So nice. I think the prices are fair just glancing at the menu. Good homecooking.

Had the biscuits and gravy, large order, for a mid-morning breakfast. Also ordered a side of hash browns. All in all, it’s good and satisfying. The biscuits seemed fried instead of baked. Not my favorite biscuits, as I like them fluffy and twice as thick. The gravy was seasoned, but not salty. And sometimes the gravy can be too salty. This was not.
Both servers were friendly, engaging, and approachable. The cafe Atmosphere was that of a small town diner. Popular and low-key.
