Amy was our server, highly recommend! Drinks of choice: Woodford Old Fashioned and Southern and sour. Atmosphere was the true supper club feel and the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh oysters and oysters Rockefeller to start followed by a filet and prime rib. All of the dishes were presented accordingly with the usual salad and soup option with taste being on point! Amy had a great way of guiding us through some of the guest favorites and we ended with the grasshopper … as well as the infamous turtle cheesecake to end the experience! Overall fantastic night in our supper club adventures!

Couldn’t eat the fried cod. All rubbery. Wife’s salmon was fine. Mushroom appetizer was different, cheese should have been browned for a better look and texture. Au gratin was I tasty but such a small portion, you have to see a picture to believe it. Beautiful view and very good service. Love the table cloths

My wife and I were invited to dinner at The Butterfly Club in Beloit, Wisconsin. Her family has been going there on Fridays for fish for decades, so it was special to join them.

Three of us had the broiled cod, and one had the fried fish. The portions were big, and we all really enjoyed our meals. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere had a classic supper club feel that we liked.

The only downside was that they didn’t have Blue Moon or Shock Top, which are our usual beer choices.

Overall, it was a great experience with good food, good service, and fair prices. We’d be happy to go back.

Wonderful atmosphere here, traditional supper club. Reservations were for 6:30 for group of 7, we were seated at 7:05, busy night so not an issue. Rolls were brought out, drink orders were prompt. Appetizers came, Oysters Rockefeller, Cheese Sticks, I would pass on Oysters Rockefeller or scrap of the excess toppings. Waitress must have went on break as we did not see her till end of dinner, no more drink orders. My Prime Rib was very good, Salmon Dinner was great, Steak Dinners were below average, poorly cooked to order. Augratin potatoes were very delicious. For the price 200.00 for 4 people, yes two different checks, I probably would not return.

Valentines day. We sat in the bar area. Tables and chairs are 1/2 size. Too many people but the atmosphere was great once people cleared out. Live music to dine and drink to. Food was not good. Streak not cooked to what was asked, lobster cooked too long, quality of meats were low. Side dishes very bland. Pretty expensive. Employees were fantastic though!

Girls night at The Butterfly was a success! We started at the bar before making our way to our table. The martinis and old fashions were fantastic! Everyone was very happy with their steaks & salmon- our server was wonderful. Then we ended the night in the lounge- the music and ice cream drinks were the perfect way to end the night. Thank you for a memorable night!

Good atmosphere and good waitress! The old fashioned was decent but I’m not sure it’s worth the price. I’ll say the food prices are very reasonable actually but I don’t know that I buy into the hype of a supper club close to say del bar for example. Fine, but not great. The food lacked seasoning, steak was undercooked with no sear. The rolls were really good, the Honduran shrimp were huge which I appreciate! The kids pasta was no bueno. Way too oily and no salt or seasoning at all. We saw a minimum of two steaks sent back tonight due to them not being cooked properly. I love French onion soup but this was not a very good one- again lacking in the seasoning department. Overall fine, not great.

Three weeks ago, my husband and I agreed to try something new for St. Valentine’s Day. He called and made reservations and they told him they were excited to see us. So how was the food, you ask? I wouldn’t know. You’re curious about the atmosphere? Inhospitable. Severe latex allergy aside, there was a line out of the door when we arrived which we had to stand in to speak with the matre’d. When it was my husband’s turn to speak, he was handed a buzzer and told that they would page us when our table was ready, which is the same action they performed for the people ahead of us who did not have a reservation, and whom they said would be seated when a table became available. We waited fifteen minutes before I had difficulty breathing from the balloons placed in an arch in the lobby, and around the dining room. They only had a table for us after I went outside. They promised it was away from the balloons. By then, the effort was too little, too late. I just wanted my EpiPen. I couldn’t go back in. It was too embarrassing, and I wasn’t interested in suffocating. So tacky for a “fine dining” establishment to decorate with latex balloons. Besides, what is the point of a reservation if they are seating walk-in guests first?

I only take down a star because, while I understand a restaurant being very popular and busy and patrons taking awhile, 45 minutes past our reservation time is a bit much. We were just discussing walking and going elsewhere when our pager went off and we decided to give it a go. That being said, the meal quickly made up for it. Wonderfully balanced cocktails, we had the oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer and it was absolutely divine. Prime rib cooked to perfection, potatoes delicious, even the soup/salad course was wonderful. Live music was great. We will definitely be back… just maybe not on such a busy night.

I’m still reeling from the quintessential Wisconsin experience I had at Butterfly Supper Club – their legendary fish fry is an absolute must-try! The cod was cooked to perfection, flaky and tender, and served with a side of crispy fries that had just the right amount of crunch. But what truly set this meal apart was the atmosphere – it was like stepping into a slice of Wisconsin tradition. And to top it all off, I indulged in a refreshing Grasshopper dessert that was nothing short of excellent. If you’re looking for an authentic taste of the Badger State, look no further than Butterfly Supper Club – you won’t be disappointed!
