Located inside the Excalibur on the second floor next to a candy shop. This buffet was mid. Open daily from 7 am to 2 p.m., time is limited. On the weekends, they charge for all you can drink as well. My partner is close to 40 years sober and they still want to charge this price. I went to this buffet a different time and the food is mid. I went for breakfast and the Omelet station was the best. Refreshments are Pepsi products. They have water and also coffee. Did not know about the free margaritas promo with Pearl and above til I left. Staff is very friendly. Most common areas are clean. Did not think it was really worth the price. Things change over time but I remember being here multiple times over the last 25 years and it has definitely went down. Go here for quick eats. But compared to the rest of Excalibur food court, this might be the best bang for your buck. You could easily pay $40 at the nearby Fatburger…so this is why the buffet is the better option. The place is clean and roomy. If you’re looking for a traditional American brunch, you’ve come to the right spot. They serve everything from grits and gravy biscuits to some Mexican snacks. Compared to the prices at MGM Resort, I think it’s a little high. Total for 2 is 88 bucks.

I came here last February. I came for the variety and classic Vegas buffet vibe there’s plenty to choose from, but nothing blew me away. The breakfast options were decent. Good for a casual, no-fuss meal. I found it expensive and the water was straight up gross.

I am writing to express my strong disappointment with the current state of the buffet. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely poor and does not reflect the reputation that MGM is known for.
The menu has remained unchanged for a very long time. The same desserts—cakes, rolls, and carrot cake—have been served for nearly four years with no innovation or improvement. The food presentation and taste are not appealing at all, and in several cases, the quality was simply unacceptable.
What makes this more frustrating is the price increase. The buffet cost has gone up from $33 to $44, yet the food quality has significantly declined. Increasing prices while offering low-quality food creates a very negative guest experience.
To be honest, the food felt more like food-truck quality rather than something prepared by professionally trained chefs. This raises serious concerns about kitchen standards and culinary leadership.
MGM has a strong reputation, but experiences like this damage the brand. If the food department cannot be managed properly, it may be better to reconsider operating the buffet at all—similar to what was done at Luxor.
I strongly urge management to review the food quality, menu variety, and kitchen operations. Guests expect much better from an MGM property.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to meaningful improvements.

The 2 for 1 myvegas is a very good deal, especially when you dont want to spend double that anywhere else, lets say for 2 ppl. I went on Sunday for brunch and there was mimosas included. $47 for 2 ppl, its very good value. Hope they keep it going, food was decent, basic, and fresh. Replenished quite often.It was perfect to keep you going all day.

Well we are in Vegas. Its a big buffet with many options from american breakfast all the way to pozole ans sushi. It’s not the best but it serves its purpose. They are many dishes that absolutely delicious and others that are just that food. Prices are not bad compared with all the rest of the hotels. We went on a Mimosa bottomless $43 p/adult. Mimosas are not there specialty but alcohol is there and you can feel it. Its the OJ that its watery ans not sweet and tasty. I would defenetly not come back on a weekend. My favorites….Coffee was very good, salads, pozole ans the meat bar.

Visited the Excalibur Buffet (open from 10 AM to 2 PM) and was pleasantly surprised by their approach to gluten-free dining. I have symptomatic celiac disease, so I’m always extremely careful—and although I had no symptoms afterward, I didn’t feel 100% confident the whole time.
When you mention that you need to eat gluten-free, a chef personally walks you through the buffet and explains what you can safely eat, which is a great touch. However, some items—like the sushi with surimi—made me hesitant. In Germany, surimi usually contains wheat, and even though I was told it was safe here, I chose to skip it just to be cautious.
They also offered a gluten-friendly cake (they say “friendly” for liability reasons), which was a nice option for dessert.
Overall, the value for money was excellent, especially for a buffet in Las Vegas. A good option if you’re cautious and ask questions—but maybe not ideal if you need absolute certainty.

I recently visited The Buffet at Excalibur with my family and spent over $140 for the four of us unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The quality of the food was honestly terrible. Aside from the watermelon and the fountain drinks, everything else was either bland, overcooked, or just unappetizing.
For the price we paid, I expected at least a few standout dishes, but nothing impressed us. It was by far the worst buffet experience I’ve ever had in Las Vegas or in my life. The atmosphere was decent and the service was friendly, which is the only reason this isn’t a one-star review.
Save your money and go elsewhere, this buffet simply isn’t worth it. Avoid this place at all cost!

We went here to celebrate a birthday. The cost is outrageous $50 for the buffet.The sausage was dried out and didn’t taste well. The brisket, and salad, gravy, was really delicious. The person waiting on our table to remove plates, etc. She walked past our table and purposely did not pick up our plates and glasses! Plus why should we tip when u do everything yourself. Get your own drinks food, etc. I never put tip on receipt, I give cash. Because u can’t take tip back for bad service. We left server a couple bucks. But this buffet is not worth $50 per person.
