Great sushi and burgers! I was in the area for work and decided to stop in, and I’m really glad I did. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The sushi was high quality with fresh fish and perfectly prepared rice, and the burgers were just as impressive—juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked exactly how I ordered them.
I actually ended up coming back a second time during the same trip because it was that good. It’s not often you find a place that does both sushi and burgers really well, but they definitely pull it off. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food came out quickly without sacrificing quality. If I’m ever working in the area again, this will absolutely be one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend!

We drove 2 hours to get here and boy was it worth it. The worst part is how many amazing options there are..and I can only eat so much. The food was fantastic, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was lively on the patio. I will definitely be back!! Our server Daphne was 5-star!

Cowfish in Charlotte is the pinnacle sushi Fusion experience! I came straight from work and there’s plenty of seeing, the bar is huge, and there are plenty of booths and tables to fit your seating preferences. The whole place is clean and the aesthetic is amazing! I ordered Two rolls and they came out within seven minutes of an order of them. They were both so good that I had the manager recommend another one. It came out only five minutes later! All three of them were 10 out of 10. The fusion between burgers and sushi is wonderful because anyone can eat here and I can come for any occasion. The prices are reasonable and the service is amazing. 10 out of 10.

The food was great and the vibe was awesome! Service communication could have been better. I ordered a beer when the entree arrived at the table and received it when I was finished. Although I was told it was a technical issue because they were switching kegs I had no idea because that wasn’t communicated. Overall good experience and would recommend to others!

Cowfish is always excellent and somewhat of a hidden gem tucked away in a small shopping court next to SouthPark Mall. If you can’t decide between burgers or sushi for dinner or lunch….Well this place has both! My burger was fantastic (The Local Yokel). I ate half of it and the next day reheated it, it was just as good as it was the day before. The sweet potato fries complimented it well. I met an extremely nice gentleman at the neighboring table and his name was Osiris (probably spelling it wrong), But he got onion rings and a few other great looking items. His onion rings were so huge I had to ask him about them and if they were tasty. He said they were really good. We struck up a conversation about other things, mainly the food, But he ended up paying for our meal and I was just shocked. A random act of kindness from a complete stranger. It goes to show if you treat everybody with kindness you never know how that is going to be paid forward. He was such a sweet man, I wish I had gotten his full name. But that was extremely nice of him to do. My boss enjoyed his meal which was the bento box with a combination of cheeseburger and California roll, edamame etc. I wanted my boss to try this place and I’m hoping he will ask to go back again. As a caregiver one of my jobs is to take my boss wherever he wants to go to eat and he likes trying different places. He was very happy with cowfish, they don’t disappoint! I shall return!

Best burger I’ve had in Charlotte. Perfectly cooked to my liking (medium rare). Just overall delicious food. The milkshakes are also delicious. My wife and I have been here twice and it’s quickly become one of our favorite spots.
The atmosphere was always really great their outdoor patio was beautiful.
The service was also really solid. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She even gave us some recommendations.
It’s a little on the pricier side, but for the quality we definitely think it’s worth it.

Been here several times over the years, not a huge fan of the sushi because it’s a larger bite. The crab dip with wontons is good. Had burgers this time and they were great. Service was great too. They are renovating and we sat outside on a nice evening.

I personally love ordering the truffle burger, skipping the bun, and adding a crisp side salad—it’s a delicious, satisfying combo.
Even better, they have a dog-friendly patio, so our little pup was able to join us. During our road-trip from South Carolina to Pennsylvania, we stopped here both ways—knowing we could enjoy a safe, tasty meal and include our four-legged companion.
