I had the BEST fish sandwich I’ve ever had at this place the other day. And I’ve grown up fishing and eating from lake Erie my entire life.

My husband, my family, and I had dinner at this establishment for the first and last time in early September (2021). The grilled peach salad I had came with peaches that were not grilled and not fresh…as you can see in the photo, they were from a can. It was as though they took one peach slice from a can, finely sliced it into paper thin pieces, and used a smoker as a failed attempt to give them a “grilled” taste. Supposing they were unable to source fresh peaches at the time, they should have taken this dish off the menu or informed me that it was unavailable for that evening. The other toppings included 2/3 of one single cherry tomato and way too many pistachios. The brussel sprouts I ordered were overcooked to the point of tastelessness and so saturated in oil that grease gushed out when you began to chew. And for the total price of these two menu items, I could have easily purchased at least a dozen fresh peaches, a couple pounds of fresh brussel sprouts, and a big container of spring mix lettuce. We ordered soft pretzels as an appetizer, which were overcooked (tough and dry) and clearly came from a frozen “Super Pretzel” box we could have bought ourselves at the grocery store. The outdoor picnic tables were extremely uncomfortable, and ours was situated right by a speaker. When we kindly asked our waiter if the music could be turned down or if we could be seated elsewhere, he said he’d “look into it” but never actually did anything (even after bringing it to his attention a second time). Some employees were consistently wearing a mask, while others (including our waiter) sometimes wore one and sometimes had it pulled down below their chin or nose. After this experience, I would not recommend dining here, and I do not plan on returning.

What a great time! My husband and I were greeted and seated right away. Jenna was our server and was a blast for our first time visit! We had some cocktails and picked a variety of appetizers for our lunch. Calamari, wings, poppers and firecracker shrimp. All was great, would skip the calamari next time. The atmosphere was awesome and outdoor seating was inviting!

Where do I even start… The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly, the menu has a wide variety of seafood, they have non-seafood options that rival the main dishes easily, the food is made to order and nothing is frozen, the drinks are local and not the usual coke/pepsi, the food takes maybe 20 minutes tops each time which is super quick for fresh meals, etc. I’ve been here 3 times since moving to the area less than 2 months ago and let’s just say I plan on going more often than that. I personally don’t like seafood but their sirloin tip alfredo is good enough to order EVERY SINGLE TIME. And I’m a chef who loves trying new things. I can not get my mind off of that meal, it’s heavenly. Boiler room is a 10/10 in every way. I promise if you go there you will not be disappointed, it’s impossible. My experiences there have been overwhelmingly positive. The sirloin tip alfredo is to die for, seriously. Just make sure your hungry My girl who loves seafood vouches for the seafood wholly btw, no matter what you get it’ll be amazing.

Food was a really good. Could use a little more options for beers in bottles. Sever was excellent. Nice place inside. Not to pricey. Overall for the first time here I liked it.

Usually, when 1 thing goes wrong, I don’t bother to give a poor review, but many things went wrong. 3 weeks ago, my friend and I decided to dine here. We sat for 10 min. before being acknowledged while a table that was seated after us, was helped. The first cocktails took 10 min. to be served, but my friend forgot to request light on the ice, for health reasons. Upon our 2nd order, another 10 min., she asked the server for no ice in her bloody Mary. Her drink arrived in a highball glass, half filled with the cocktail, with olives on a toothpick, straddling the top of the glass. I was stunned. I asked the server what was going on and she said that the bartender had forgotten to hold the ice. the server took it upon herself to strain the drink. There are so many things wrong with this. A competent server might have put the drink in a smaller rocks glass and brought some ice on the side. Poor training. For food, I ordered a ribeye, medium rare, costing $40. I know prices are higher now, as I am a seasoned diner. The steak was completely over cooked and a terrible piece of meat as well. Complaining at this point would’ve had my friend dining alone while I wait for another meal. The whole evening was stunningly poor.

Service was great.. some cool dude took care of us without hesitation. It was my best friend’s birthday party.. she was happy but… she didn’t like the idea that a couple of us got cold mac and cheese. Wasn’t even creamy.. might want to work on that.. very clean. I will try again but not anytime soon

Our server was the best, Matt. We were a table of 14 the day before Mother’s Day, they were very busy! We were celebrating my birthday, he was gracious, helpful and knowledgeable. I cannot tell you what everyone had but can say everyone enjoyed. I had the mussels appetizer and a side salad, I shared a good portion of the mussels, no skimping there!
