What a hidden gem! We were looking for some place new to have dinner and saw a couple of posts about the Boathouse. We are so happy we went, wait staff was supper nice, food was good. We stayed for the music on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful sunset as we watched the boats come in. We will be back!

The Boathouse at Collin Park Marina is one of my favorite summer spots on Lake Lavon! It’s a seasonal restaurant (open from around Memorial Day through Labor Day) that sits directly on the water, which makes it perfect whether you’re coming in by boat or driving in. Boaters can tie up at the on-the-water parking, and if you’re arriving by land there’s plenty of parking in the lot.
The menu is casual but solid (fresh salads, juicy burgers, Nashville hot sandwiches, and a few other favorites). Family-owned and operated, and the service has always been friendly and laid-back, just like a good lake day should be.
They also make it fun with karaoke nights and live music during the season, which adds to the atmosphere and makes it a great place to hang out with friends or family.
And here’s a cool bonus: once the lake season winds down, you can still support the family by visiting their Kadee Farm in Greenville, TX for the fall pumpkin patch or Christmas tree farm in the winter.
If you’re out at Lake Lavon, The Boathouse is definitely worth checking out: good food, fun vibes, and a true local gem.

We wandered around the lake and stumbled upon The Boathouse on a busy Sunday evening. The restaurant was lively! A few tables for outdoor seating, and a handful indoors if you prefer to enjoy the AC.
Our server, Megan, was attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the cheeseburger (came with fries), and my fiancé ordered the patty melt. The cheeseburger was good. The meals were very generously sized. Lots of families enjoying their meals here after a long day out on the lake!

It’s been about a year since my last review and I just want to say it’s as awesome as ever. We ate there three times over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Aside from the great food, what really stands out is the consistently wonderful service. Everyone greets you, pays attention to you, helps you, keeps tabs on you. Impressive, and I remain a loyal customer.

Finally got to stop in with my family and try this today. It is outstanding! Service is excellent. Food was awesome. Cheese fries are to die for. Brisket tacos are delicious. Brisket quesadillas were great. Everybody was happy. I agree with all the positive reviews about the excellent service. Nice job Woody. This will be a regular stop from now on.

This is Bengi! Me and my family came out the other day and witnessed one of if not the most friendly customer service interactions I have ever experienced! Watch the sunset over the lake from their outside patio. The owners are just good people, who take pride in their restaurant and it shows. The restaurant is clean. The waitstaff is friendly and the food…everything on the menu is great, but my personal favs are the BLT, Cheeseburger, Catfish, Brisket Tacos, and French fries!!! Go check them out, and you’ll fall in love too ♥️

Great place for a date or a mid day lunch .the atmosphere and vibes were awesome. Our waiter was great and very good at keep the table at bay. The price was okay, but the food was bomb. The outside area on the docks was great and views were amazing. Feeding the fish under the dock is a nice experience as well . All together if your just looking to have a couple of drinks before going out on the water or looking for a meal , i highly recommend The Boathouse lake lavon.
Definitely worth the money spent.
