The self righteousness about “only hiring locals” while being a *Dairy Queen* that pays minimum wage is laughable. I guess I will just go to the Hopkins location that doesn’t have to make it political, and the service is much better there. Or you know, a real “local” ice cream spot that isn’t a chain? Lmfao

Had a legitimate question about a birthday blizzard deal for my friend. Guy with the glasses behind the counter was extremely rude and condescending to us while rolling his eyes answering our questions. Let him know he should check his attitude and walked out without getting anything. This was my childhood Dairy Queen, sad to see what it’s come to.

Locally owned and operated. We are sad when they close for the Winter and are happy again when they reopen. They support local charities and hire people who live in the community.

If I could leave no stars I would. The service here is absolutely terrible. All the staff members are teenagers that have awful attitudes and are always in such a rush that they always get our orders wrong. I’ve been a loyal and respectful customer for over a year and I’ve never felt more uncomfortable and unwelcome anywhere than I do here.

I just moved a few short minutes away and was looking forward to some ice cream. I arrived 20 minutes before their posted close time thinking I was in for a treat, but unfortunately the doors were locked while I could see employees inside still working. Google and their sign clearly states they’re open from 11am-10pm. If hours have changed, please post those changes. I would love to change my review and try the location in the future when hours are more clear.

We love this dairy queen! My review is based off of the comparison between this location and others in the Twin Cities that I have been to.
The staff is attentive, pleasant, offers you a lid to go for your blizzards, and even puts the right amount of candy pieces into your blizzards. I’ve been to some Dairy Queens that really cheap you on the candy pieces, and others that put so much that you have no ice cream. Which is weird that the topping ratio changes because they’re all a franchise.
This location’s staff additionally put a few of my candy pieces on top of the blizzard and a drizzle of chocolate! What a cute surprise. The picture attached is after I took a couple of bites of one side before I remembered to take a picture.

This is a different sort of DQ, old-style, and nostalgic. They have a sign explaining minimum charge protocols like it’s 1991 all over again. It’s droll. The people working here are quite perky and Wonka-esque. Not that they’re short and orange, but the song and dance routines slap. I’ll keep returning to this location for as long as they give me more sprinkles than I could have imagined. The only drawback is that this location seems to draw in the most Karens, like moths to a flame. I tip the extra because I’m sympathetic to the poor kids who work here.

Really bad service. High school kid overcharged me for a custom blizzard. Charged me for every little addition. $11 for a medium blizzard is ridiculous. Bad energy in there too. I am a very loyal dairy queen customer, going once a week in the summer. Not going to this location ever again.

Nice little DQ shop. This is like a pop up, no seating and no drive through. I miss the picnic tables they used to have in the lot. They do have one long bench outside. Also beware you need cash or card they do not have contactless pay options. Great place to take a bike ride to! Employees have always been friendly and they seem to staff according to demand

Very disappointed with my recent visit to Dairy Queen. I was with a group, and we all ordered individually. I specifically asked for an Oreo Blizzard, but it was never added to the order. Everyone else received their items, and mine was completely left out. When I brought it up, there was no apology or effort to make it right. It felt like my order was just ignored. It’s frustrating to be the only one left without what you asked for. This kind of service is really disappointing. I hope they work on being more attentive.
