Delicious food. started with fried green tomatoes and pickles. Sandwiches came next. I enjoyed the shrimp poboy. Their chicken wrap and chicken sandwich were also enjoyed by friends. Host and wait staff friendly. Live music in the courtyard. Not too loud. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Tables and chairs are comfortable. Would recommend this establishment.

Great lunch at the Bistro. Faith was our server. She was very friendly, attentive, and professional. Tried the Wings and Fried Green Tomatoes as appetizers which were really good. Then we all settled in on the Burgers. I tried the Pimento Burger and it was exceptional. Then for dessert the Cheescake really hit the spot.

Always, great food and wonderful service. I might have seemed fussy for waiting for over 15 minutes for a to go box. I really wasn’t meaning to fuss. It was just odd to wait for so long. Our server was really sweet though. She was attentive before we were asking for a box. I think she just forgot. I still highly recommend the Bistro for their food and service.

I belong to Duplin’s Wine Club and stopped here on my way to Myrtle Beach. Wonderful place, loved the ambience, our food was delicious and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Not far from I/40. Easy accessibility, plenty of parking and clean restrooms. Highly recommend.

After spending a few hours exploring Kenansville, I drove a little further south to get some lunch. The shrimp Po’boy is excellent, the house salad is delicious, and the Magnolia midnight wine was tasty. The wine was on the sweeter side but pairs well with the shrimp Po’boy. But the show stopper for me was the warm bread puddin’ ( the g is definitely silent on this one).
So if you are visiting the area ( such as Liberty Hall or the Cowan Museum both in Kenansville), then you owe it to yourself to give the bistro a try. You might have to ask someone how to get to the bistro as it is attached to the tasting room.

Absolutely fantastic customer service.. make sure to buy the whole bottle of wine instead of the glass.. better value.. food is made to order and definitely fresh.. parking lot is a bit cumbersome but even the wait for a table is worth browsing the facilities with your sweetzer in hand..

This is one of the best tucked away places to have lunch! The food is always on point! I enjoy having the perfectly grilled pimento cheese sandwich topped with a golden fried green tomato; this is my favorite! For an appetizer, I always order the fried pickles – they are amazing! The fried pickles are definitely a splurge item for me being that they are just a hint salty and just a smidgen greasy, but “good!” The sweet potato fries are another one of my top pics, they are fried to perfection – light and crispy with just the right flavor! To add a pop of flavor to the SP fries use the dipping sauce to set it off! Also, the alcohol free wine is really good, so good that I purchased a bottle to take home.
The Bistro is cozy nice and quaint; they have quite a few tables for 2 which adds a nice romantic feel for a lunch date, or nice private vibe for lunch with a friend. Not to mention that the place is always clean, which is a plus!
The wait staff always seem friendly and patient.
Don’t forget to visit the gift shop on the way out to purchase of course your favorite bottle of wine, wine glasses, wine bag or case, jewelry, a nice NC souvenir, and more!

Arrived around 1-1:30 on a Saturday and only had about a 20 minute wait. And that went quick when browsing around the store. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful. Had the Mahi sandwich and it was amazing! Once I took the first bite I don’t think I put it down once until I was done. I will definitely be making more road trips to Bistro at Duplin Winery.
