I tried several breakfast items and everything was delicious. The Crab eggs Benedict were flavorful and filling, the French toast paired perfectly with the bacon. Each dish felt fresh and well prepared, making the whole meal very satisfying. Definitely a great spot for breakfast.

I’ve been floating past this place for a while, and I will see a line out front saying to myself, “That place must have some good food.” Well, I guess I FAAFO today. I called my order in, and even in the rush and not having a menu item in stock, the customer service was awesome. I ordered two salmon croquet breakfast sandwiches, French toast breakfast w bacon, and a shrimp omelet. I never added a side, so the beautiful young lady that was cooking added some Cajun grits as the side. Which was cool. The food was delicious and seasoned well. It reminded me of my grandmother’s breakfast on the weekends. The establishment doesn’t do “fast food,” so it would be a good idea to attempt to call in your order and pick it up somewhere between 25-35 minutes later. I will most definitely stop in again to explore the other menu items that is in alignment with my current diet. I will be back, and I can’t wait, but I have to.
Thank you Breakfast Shack cook for the delicious food.

I was there on Saturday may 3 for the first time. I ordered salmon croquette and a burrito. I was told thirty minutes. I waited 30 minutes then asked about my order. I was told the cook was working on it. Then I noticed people that were in line behind me got there orders. So I asked again and was told they were bagging it. I waited a little longer and was told I will check on it. I overheard the cook saying I don’t have that order. The lady told me they are cooking it. Then the cook comes out to say they don’t have the wrap for the burrito and is now 1.5 after my initial order. The cook was very rude and condescending. Then the cook tells the other lady to refund my money. The result is after 1.5 hours waiting I left with no food and a promise to refund my money. This place does not understand good customer service. They will be rude and condescending to you if you complain about something especially the wait even if it is there fault.

Spending plenty of time recently here in the LA area, and venturing everywhere to see everything- I was happy to find this little gem- reminds me of home cooked breakfast! Perfect eggs, everything was fresh and such kind service here. We enjoyed the fluffy pancakes, and to be honest it reminded me of home!

Ambiance: I got my order to go. The place is right on the street, you order outside at the counter, and if you’d like, there’s seating outside in the back. Limited parking.
Service: The line was short when I got there and varied throughout my wait. They were pretty nice, though our interaction was short. The wait was about 25 to 30 minutes for the breakfast sandwich and 2 sides, so either order ahead or be patient.
Food: I really wanted to love this place because the reviews looked amazing. I wasn’t really impressed. It was a decent meal, but it lacked a lot of flavor, the sandwich didn’t have any sauce/spread, the potatoes had too much garlic, and the grits needed butter salt and pepper. It all looked amazing, but the taste didn’t live up.

Smackin’ & wholesome, seasoned & made with LOVE♥️—The Breakfast Shack is my favorite breakfast place in LA. You will not be disappointed here!
Things made with love take time, so have patience, it’s always worth the wait. The two ladies tag-teaming this little shack are wonderful souls who put great care & detail in all that they do. From the food, the service, and as a business, this street corner is blessed to have the Shack & all who pour into it.
Their breakfast sandwiches are my go-to. Soft bun, fluffy eggs, melty cheese, & your choice of meat (pork patty + turkey patty are seasoned to perfection!) Throw on some hot sauce, spread some jam, & you have yourself a satisfying start to your day.
There’s a peaceful little patio seating in the back too; go get you a bite & some sun!
Stay blessed ️

Wow, just wow. This place is incredible and absolutely made my day before I watched the Chargers lose at SoFi yesterday. I’ll probably be stopping by every time I’m in town. Huge thanks to the ladies for being so nice and for making the best breakfast sandwich of my life. Definition of a hidden gem.

Hands down one of the most FLAVORFUL breakfast experiences EVER! I’m a home chef and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Food was cooked to perfection. Pork chops juicy, grits smooth creamy and LUMP FREE!!! And the FRUITY PEBBLE FRENCH TOAST goes CRAZY!!! I had the honor of meeting the owner/chef Brittany and her daughter and she shared her story with me and my family…truly humbled and grateful to have had the opportunity to taste a bit of her dream! Passion, talent and love all in one bite right in the middle of what some would call ‘the hood’

A local “hidden gem”! The absolutely best hash browns and grits I’ve ever tasted “no cap”. Don’t let me start on the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito my go to order. The main attraction here is the delicious shrimp & grits, did I mention the flavored coffee is FREE! JUST ASK FOR IT. (If you’re really hungry ask for the “Sugar’s Special” 2 eggs, hashbrowns, grits, bacon, sausage biscuits and side of pancakes).
Enjoy!
