Enjoyed having brunch here with my parents. The pecan waffles were delicious, the hashbrowns were crispy, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Our server, (frank I think maybe was his name?) did a wonderful job taking care of us and keeping our drinks full. The music was so relaxing and the environment was elegant. Overall, it was a good experience. Thanks!

This was our first time going to the Father’s Day brunch and I will not be back. I kept apologizing to my husband for the waste of time. The food was dry and cold (Grits, eggs with sausage, potatoes, fish). We got an omelet and he didn’t make it with what we ordered AT ALL). But we waited so long, my husband just took them and went on. We didn’t like that we had to walk down the hall with our food. The waitress was nice but she was horrible at the job (she got my husbands drink wrong, took forever bringing stuff back to the table, she didn’t even explain anything to us like where to go, etc.) We ended up following some other guests whose waitress was more informative. The wall as were dirty by our table, the table cloth looked dirty and wrinkle. Flies and mosquitoes were flying around while we were eating. I don’t mind paying but I wanna pay for good food and good service…both of which I didn’t get here. I left a tip because it was Father’s Day and she was really nice.

7/16/22 came for dinner at 5:50 P.M. and there was no crowd at all. Things started moving a shaking shortly thereafter, though (closer to 6:30 P.M.).

Did a little research via reviews prior to visiting with my wife for the first time, so I kind of knew what to expect. The menu had changed up quite of bit from what was online and that was a little disappointing because we had kind of already picked out what we were going to order; but things happen. So we get there and get seated right away. We did call earlier that afternoon and knew that there was going to be a large party of 30 that was going to be there around 6:00 so we were prepared for that as well. It is very pretty inside and knowing that the Bentley Hotel has over 100 years of history, it fit right in to what we had expected. Our waitress was very nice, knowledgeable and suggestive about things on the menu; so that was nice since things had change. We were prepared to eat a good bit and spend a nice dime; we ordered appetizers and the meal. It took nearly an hour to get the appetizer but I did mention we were behind a large party and we were fine. My wife was addressed shortly thereafter about them running out of her main dish which was a let down because there was a lot of thought and consideration that went in to that selection but she made another pick and it proved to be a very nice selection. She ordered the salmon on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes and I had the ribeye with mac and cheese. Hers looked like it came out of a magazine and she said that it was wonderful. My steak was cooked medium and had a great flavor. The mac and cheese was not what I had expected and the bowtie pasta was under cooked and had no flavor. The crab cakes were big and tasted great; too much mustard sauce so I wished I would have gotten it on the side. The spinach and artichoke dip was excellent. So over all it gets a 4-4.5 stars in my opinion. I would go back for sure

This is definitely one of Alexandria’s best kept secrets. Sweet atmosphere in a historic location. Fine dining without the frills. Exquisite dishes to choose from. Always our “go to”.

Beautiful historic hotel, with the best restaurant! Sunday brunch is my favorite, with a wide range of tasty dishes on the menu. Great attention to detail. Fine dining, but not stuffy. Remember the mimosas!

Delicious fried catfish with crawfish étouffée over rice, mac & cheese with crawfish, and the beignets with the caramel espresso sauce. Molly and the rest of the servers were great! Come hungry!
