This bar is so much fun! There are so many fun things to do there. Shawn and Rachel are great hosts, they are always friendly and welcoming. You must try the Bloody Mary’s, they are delicious! The Bat Cave is definitely one of my favorite bars in the driftless area.

Driving from north Madison to Iowa for about 5 years, we’ve always thought this bar had great potential. On today’s trip, they had a sign stating open during weekend hours. We stopped on our way home and for having been closed for a couple years, it looked great! Awesome dive bar!! Cheap beer and great vibes. It looks like they have a hood for a fryer someday but nothing yet. They had a pizza oven though. The locals were so friendly and our bartender was super attentive. Selection slighted limited so if you’re particular, likely not gunna work. I ordered a Coors bottle and bartender explained, due to recent opening and inventory only cans of Coors available. Didn’t both me none though. Absolute dive bar vibes and we could have stayed all night! Will be stopping every time we’re through town. Congrats on getting back open Bat Cave!

Newly refelted pool table, great game machines and interactive dart board. Four TVS and touchtunes. Small town friendliness in a cozy bar with vintage bat man memorabilia. Definitely worth the stop when you’re in Gotham WI.
