Having visited and enjoyed this bar for years, we were really disappointed by the change in the food stand. I’m not claiming it was cheap before, but it WAS edible and priced how you’d sort of expect in this setting. THIS year, the prices skyrocketed and servings were embarrassingly low quality. Behold our $11 crab dip! Pretty sad, and what was a hopping food stand, now consists of a few dejected young people standing around waiting for the next uninitiated unfortunate soul who was expecting last year’s offerings.
As for the drinks, sure, a little pricier than other local bars, but not out of line for a marina bar, workers still friendly and efficient, and, as long as you know to eat BEFORE you go, it’s still an enjoyable experience!

Came for the gator grill out. They were pretty busy so all the staff were having a tough time keeping up, so props to them for doing what they can. Food was alright, not a very good portion for price though. Also, they must not have a dish washer because they used paper plates and the plastic wrapped utensils. Not a fan of that.

If you like a Boat up to or a Drive to out door dance party style bar that is a pretty decent club in the late hours then come here! Come for Drinks and the experience. Careful on the food and have fun! It reminds me of Cancun tucked into the heart of the Scandinavian Riviera (Iowa Great Lakes)

Eat before you get there….the food is not even mediocre. I paid $10 for cheese nachos…turns out I got chips and 2 pumps of squirt cheese. Karaoke was fun to watch. Our server was nice. The place seems to be getting a little run down looking for price of things.

Casual vibe. Fun place to listen to bands, sing karaoke, people watch, and watch the boats- both on the water and being dry-docked. Plenty of fun for kids, too, on the playground, slide, and Maui mat. There’s always a lot going on. Both family friendly and a hot spot for bachelorettres. Shout out to great bartenders! Key West vibes, right in Iowa.

Food is meh. Over priced. Drinks are enjoyable. Gotta love the beach kinda bar in order to like this place. We do! It’s laid back and fun. Wait staff are always fun. Plenty of dock room for boat. Car parking can be tricky. Kids are welcomed.

Atmosphere was fun & we had a good time (no live music when we were there over lunch hour on a Friday). The food was just a concession stand style. The server did take our drink order & was friendly & prompt. You do have to pay twice (drinks & concession stand are separate). Concession stand is cashless, but you can pay your drink tab in cash if you want.
