My wife and I ate here recently. Unfortunately, we were not impressed. The food was not that good. The atmosphere and the place is kind of dark, really uninviting.Even though the servers were nice, but seem kind of unfamiliar with the job that they were hired to do.

im sorry, im usually very understanding with things like this, but the food was cold and dry, didnt have many options, and pur waiter was kinda rude. she kept scoffing at us and when i asked her if i could have sweetener for my sweet tea (that came unsweetened) she said she didnt know where it would be and wjat to do. very unprofessional.

It was horrible. When we walked in there was 3 ladies standing around talking. After being seated we waited like 5 minutes before the waitress even came to our table. Once we was about to go get our food most the food was out or old. We was told they would be filling up soon. But the food that was available was dried out and some was soggy. We ran out of napkins and our server never refilled them. We sat our drink at the edge to get refills. We never got them. It took them forever to bring out food. The waitress was so over worked while 2 other ladies stood at the front door chatting. On top of the food being disgusting. The service was terrible. Overall, it was horrible. I will not be going there again for sometime. Maybe 6 to 9 months if they are still open I will try them again.

We weren’t able to fully enjoy the breakfast due to it suddenly switching to lunch 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Me and my mom only could get one plate before the sudden switch, and even then it barely had anything because nothing was refilled. We weren’t even given the option to have lunch instead. Waitresses were very kind and attentive but the place leaves a lot to be desired. Especially for 16 dollars a person. Was it the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to? No. Would I come again? No.

The food and service were horrible considering the high cost. It’s not a surprise, though. The FB page was only “we’re coming soon” with no one answering the many questions the locals had about the new place. There was nothing on FB at all until opening day, which was a disaster. Then? Lots of info from the people who worked there and/or the owners. Lots of excuses. But still not addressing any of the questions or concerns of potential customers. And, apparently, when they didn’t open on time on the first day, they just left a line of people outside waiting. Did they really not bother to go out and tell them there were problems? All of this is hard to believe. I really don’t think they’re going to last long.

I visit my aunt frequently (in popular bluff)..we chose to eat at the American table. (We have dined in many restaurants in poplar bluff). The food was awful, and the service was not much better. I would encourage all to avoid this restaurant. Food at McDonald’s is far better for a more reasonable price..(the meal at American Table was $38.00.

Tried the food here, me and my family. We were seated and waited 20 mins then had to ask someone who pasted my table if my server would come over and get our drink order, she did with a snobby attitude. We had no napkins at the table, and then the food that was coming “freshly” out of the kitchen was hard and burnt. The noddles I tried to eat were so hard and gross, everything else was burnt, the food wasn’t worth the price you paid for it, we spent $65.00 for gross food and horrible service. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. We left with eating a few bites and still paid the high price for the food Horrible place, my advice eat here if you wanting something gross to eat other then that find you a better place to eat that your don’t waist your money.

Really bad buffet. Chicken and fish was rubbery and tasted funny. All pasta dishes were dry and looked like they sat in the fridge for a few days and then reheated to serve. The price was about $17 per buffet and I thought that was good until I saw the buffet. I’d have gladly paid more for better food. I wasn’t there for 20 minutes before waitress was ushering me to leave and to the cash register to pay like she was afraid her customers would try to dine and dash. Then she put a 20 percent tip on my credit card without asking and didn’t even give me a copy to sign. I was actually going to tip her more than 20 percent to make it an even $10 tip, that would have been a 50 percent tip for her. I went with my son who paid his own ticket. After seeing what she did to me, he refused to tip her at all. We usually tips like mom so she really messed up. I’ve never left a review like this. I’m really tickled off.
