We picked this spot on a whim and was glad we did. I had the Coach Jones Shrimp salad that had amazing dynamite boom boom style sauce. Very big portion! My husband had the 859 Po Boy with Shrimp. Big sandwich full of flavor. We would definitely go back!

My friend had the fish and chips, it’s just okay. Maybe we need to try something else. I would give it a try again since our server was attentive and friendly. And the place looks good.

This was our first time visiting. We seen it advertised on the news. We ordered a Bourbon Burger (bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion straws, mayo & Bourbon BBQ sauce), Battered Fish Tacos 3 (lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onion mix cilantro & tarter sauce) and a plain Fish Sandwich & Fries for my son. The only negative I can say was the coleslaw needs a good tweaking. They give you a nice helping of it but just kind of tasteless. He said the burger was the best he’s ever had and that bourbon sauce was to die for. Our waitress was very helpful and did a wonderful job. Thank you Margo!! We’ll return soon!

I love the fresh food here and the hospitality. This past Saturday, I took my two kids out to eat. They accommodated us and my one daughter’s request to have a high chair for her doll. Lol The waitress obliged and was so good interacting with them. Please choose places like this instead of the chain restaurants!

What a great place to find! Great staff first of all. Our server was very nice and took care of us. Then my fiancée mentioned that the staff looked happy doing their jobs, so kudos to the owner. Must be doing something right. Next is the food. Menu is very temping because of the great choices. We had to try the wings as a starter. Perfect . I had the Rise and Shine Burger with fries, and it didn’t disappoint. The lady had the Beer Battered Fish Sandwich and slaw. Delicious! Lots of beer on tap. Take a minute to look at the beer menu and decide. We tried some that we would have never tried before, and they were great. We loved the place and will be going back real soon to try other choices.

859 is our go-to place to eat when we have visitors from out of town. They have a broad menu, plenty of bourbon, and plenty of beers on tap. My wife & I also appreciate their openness to help communities in need, whether it be from natural disasters or adoption events. We have never had a bad experience, drink, or meal in the 3 years we’ve lived here. They also seem to take great care of their employees. I have seen some of the same faces working there since we first went, and that’s rare for the restaurant industry.
