Just want to start with my appreciation of this gem, thank you! It’s rare to find a pizza where the crust truly complements the toppings. This pizza boasts that perfect ‘leopard-spotting’ on the bottom! It’s crispy enough to hold its own but with a pillowy, airy chew. The sauce isn’t just an afterthought; it’s bright, slightly sweet, and clearly fresh. If you’re a fan of a well-balanced pie that doesn’t rely on grease to provide flavor, this is your new benchmark.

My go-to is THAT GUY!

After reopening under new management, the pizza is fantastic and the ranch is amazing. We’ve ordered twice since it reopened and both times were so delicious and the owners were so nice when we picked up. Any old reviews prior to reopening should be taken lightly as the quality is far superior now, especially the crust.

I’d even go as far as saying that we prefer That Guys over Streets of New York.

What a great place! The owners are so nice and always have a smile on their face. The pizza is excellent; we like a pepperoni, sausage, and black olive pie. Wings are tasty and crispy and love their antipasti salad. Highly recommend this place. We have not eaten at the restaurant but it reminds me of my childhood pizza joint in NY. Nothing fancy but great food, staff and clean.

My wife and I ordered a large Supreme Pizza along with a salad. The pizza was cooked perfectly. The crust was excellent. The salad was made with all fresh ingredients and a fantastic tasting Caesar dressing. Looking forward to eating the leftovers. 😉
The owners were sweet and aimed to please in all aspect of the experience.
Highly recommend and would go back in a heartbeat if we lived in the area.

Pile of dishes on the trash can, kid is sitting there on his phone no music two TVs on the wall, but both were off. 1 lonely Heineken in the cooler (yuck) Kid gave me back correct change so 1 extra star. Just noticed that their are no restrooms. Pizza came out and it’s awesome. Worth not going to streets of NY across Shea from here.

Randomly stopped by tonight as we drove by wanting pizza. Was pleasantly surprised. Really good pizza we just got a veggie and that was really good. The crust perfect thickness and and texture, the cheese very stringy and high quality. Blows any chain pizza out of the water with reasonable prices too.

Wow! I’m still thinking about the meatball sandwich I had at That Guy’s Pizza in Fountain Hills, AZ. It’s not just a good meatball sub; it’s the best I’ve ever had, hands down.

The meatballs were perfectly seasoned and cooked, tender and full of flavor. But what truly sets this sandwich apart is the combination of everything: the rich, savory meat sauce, the gooey, melted mozzarella cheese, and the bread. The bread was incredible—toasted just enough to be crispy on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside, holding everything together perfectly without getting soggy.

This isn’t just a sandwich; it’s an experience. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in Fountain Hills and looking for a truly fantastic meal, you absolutely MUST TRY the meatball sandwich at That Guy’s Pizza. You won’t be disppointed.

2 slices and a drink for $7 after tax? Now that’s a deal! The pizza was good and surprisingly the slices were pretty large for being so cheap. I will definitely be coming here again when I’m in the area.

Excellent! And very nice staff. Ordered a large pie with extra cheese, half pepperoni, half sausage and a dozen buffalo wings. All were on point. The wings were super tasty and crispy. The pizza reminded us of the slices we stop in for in New York. So yummy! Thank you! Glad you are back. Please stay!
