If I could give this place 10 stars out of five, I would. This is truly the best food in Harrisonburg, no doubt, let alone the best Thai food in Harrisonburg.
I am honestly obsessed with Thai Harrisonburg.
Every time I’m in Harrisonburg, we stop here. I’ve brought my family, I’ve brought my church group, and it is amazing every single time. The food is consistent, full of flavor, and you can tell it’s made with care.
Let’s talk drinks for a second because they deserve their own mention. The Thai iced tea and the Thai lemonade are incredible. I highly recommend trying at least one of them. They are so refreshing and honestly addictive.
My kids love this place too, which says a lot. I have a 10 year old and 5 year old triplets, and they go crazy for the shrimp tempura, calamari, and the massaman curry. My son especially loves the massaman curry and asks for it every time we come.
The pad Thai here is one of my favorite things on the menu. It’s nice and dark, full of flavor, and cooked the way pad Thai is supposed to be. So many Thai restaurants shortcut this and serve it too light with barely any flavor, but not here. This one is rich, savory, and really well done.
I also really enjoyed the mango chicken. Honestly, everything we’ve tried has been incredible. Every dish I would rate a 10 out of five if that were possible.
I actually Googled the best food in Harrisonburg, and Thai Harrisonburg came up as number one. After eating here multiple times, I can confidently say it absolutely deserves that spot. It truly is the best food in Harrisonburg, no doubt, let alone the best Thai food in Harrisonburg.
If you’re visiting Harrisonburg, do not skip this place.
They also have another restaurant called Thai Staunton. I haven’t been to that location yet, but based on how much we love the Harrisonburg one, I already know it must be great. Harrisonburg is still our favorite, and my whole family is a big fan.
We will definitely keep coming back again and again.

This place serves authentic Thai food and is even yummier than the Thai food back in my hometown in the Philippines I’ve been to Thailand and I say Thai Staunton has REALLY GOOD thai food. My absolute favourite was their Thai Fried Rice with shrimp. The portion was HUGE. It was good for 2-3 people, and i couldn’t finish it but it was so good that i took the leftovers home. I got my friend and her mom to try chicken satay and mango sticky rice for the first time and they love it!

Wonderful experience! The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Loved that the menu is fully illustrated! The staff was super friendly and helped us determine what dish we were looking for (we are bad at names ). The food took no more that 10 mins to get to our table and everything was absolutely delicious! Probably the best thai food we’ve had so far. Highly recommended.

Good place for lunch or dinner just outside downtown Staunton with a vast menu of Thai cuisine. My mother and I had an early dinner here and found it pleasantly quiet and spacious.
The Thai iced tea was excellent and the Pad Wood Sen delicious with a cellophane noodle cooked perfectly. The ramen pad Thai and duck salad were a little heavy on the shade and the duck salad was especially fishy. However, recommend as a solid lunch or dinner place near Staunton.

The food and services are really amazing. I am Thai and always look for authentic/spicy Thai food, and the Thai Staunton completely satisfied me!
We ordered super spicy Somtum, crispy pork kra-pow, chicken cashew nuts, and crispy noodles (Mee-Krop). All were fantastic and tasted like what you would find in Thailand. I highly recommend them, especially if you love spicy foods.
We will come back for sure to try a fried fish with herbs!

We stopped here on a roadtrip with our dogs and had a great time! It was warm and a little noisy on the front patio, but the staff were very friendly and brought out a big bowl of water for our dogs.
I got the Pad Thai lunch special with tofu , which came with a small salad, a cup of soup, and a spring roll. It was all very good and I still ended up with enough left over to bring home. I’ll stop here again if I’m ever passing through the area!

We visited this little spot while in town. It was amazing ! The owner and staff are so friendly… This was my first authentic Thai food experience . They set the bar very high… They let me taste different Sauces. Very fun and family like atmosphere…. I’ll definitely be back when in town …

Guess that I was spoiled when we first started coming here. Now when we come there always seems to be different servers. The food is good but nothing significant. My husband enjoys the red curry. I usually like medium spicy rice dishes but nothing seems to hit the spot.

This place exceeded all my family’s expectations. The portions were generous. The food was amazing. The fried food is fried to perfection and light and crispy. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. There are also little extras all around that that my family had fun pointing out like the plants in the bottles around the tables.
