Yesterday we had lunch at Thai Lotus in Winchester, VA. Everything was absolutely perfect. Every entree, every appetizer. I had the Pad Thai with seafood, Thai hot. Could not be better. You can tell each entree is prepared individually, critically judged by the chef for appearance, taste and overall perfection. The food is worth at least twice the price. It’s well worth what you pay for. We have been eating there for over 1 year now and everything we have ordered has been perfect.

Food is amazing. I’m from California and I live in an area with a lot of Asian food so I’ve tried many Thai places before. Had a business trip to Winchester. I had low expectations when I came to this restaurant. It turned out very delicious and clean. I ordered pad Thai & green curry. Both are very good.

I couldn’t bring myself to appreciate the food. Ordered green curry and spring rolls. Basic. But the curry was underwhelming, lacking heat, aromatics from the herbs, and had very little flavor profile. Tasted more like cream-base chicken soup than Thai green curry. Even if you ordered it Thai spicy, the kitchen would have only added crushed chilli powder to it. Well, then it’s no longer green curry.
Having some insight on shortcuts that several Thai restaurants take on basic appetizers, I asked if the spring rolls were homemade. Was told yes. Would have appreciated the honesty so I could order something else. These Spring rolls tasted like they came from wholesale, restaurant distributor. Menu says it has vermicelli noodle (which makes them distinctly Thai compared to other Asian style rolls), but not a strand was to be found. Only a couple of soggy cabbage+carrots in thick roll of wrapper.

Food is the best Thai food in the area. One of the best I’ve had. We are always seated quickly and the food arrives quickly. There is never a crowd and it’s very cozy. Staff is super friendly and I highly recommend them.

We had a great time at Thai Lotus,and we loved all the food we ordered. I had the Cashew with chicken. It was very good, so much flavor and more cashews than I could count. It was a large portion, I only had half and took the rest home.
The atmosphere is nice, a small space but very comfortable, and I loved the umbrellas on the ceiling.
The service was great, the experience was great, and we will go back for sure.

Fresh roles were huge but lacked much flavor. They were so big after one or two bites they started to fall apart.
The spicy eggplant with chicken was ok. Sauce was good but the eggplant was over cooked. I asked for Thai hot and it wasn’t that spicy, 3 out of 5. Waiter never came back to check one or refill my water.

Found this hidden gem while driving. Met by my server and was seated quickly. Very clean and great atmosphere. Large menu selection and priced nicely. I had the Fresh Rolls for my appetizer and they were great! They were accompanied with peanut and chili sauces. For my main course I went with my favorite, Green Curry with chicken. I was not disappointed with my selection. It had the great flavor that I was expecting and the heat was just right (medium) for me. I would definitely recommend eating here. Enjoy.

This is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant, even after having lived in the DC/NoVa area. To start, the food is always consistent and absolutely delicious! You can immediately tell the ingredients are very fresh and combined perfectly together with the right seasonings. The owner/staff is so very friendly and great at what he does! Most of the time it’s just him, but he’s so fast and attentive, making sure you have everything you need. Even with every table sat, I’ve seen people more pleased by one person than most restaurants I’ve visited or worked at in the past. When you get a glimpse of the kitchen or it’s staff, you see an immaculately clean place and staff always wearing protective equipment(even well into 2022 when most restaurant employees bypass PPE). The menu offers a wide variety of options, plentiful for many dietary needs and is very affordable and reasonably priced. The location is very convenient and the interior always kept clean, organized, and welcoming. They do offer a good selection of beer and wine as well, offer a small outdoor seating area with heating in the winter. It’s surrounded by tons of shopping, so it’s fun to visit and then walk around. I’m guilty to almost never change my usual pad Thai, but all their dishes are superb, including the Tom Yum and Tom Ka soup, the drunken noodles, cashew chicken, pad se-ew, and more! Heads up, you CAN request spice levels from mild to hot, even on dishes marked as spicy. A TRUE MUST TRY GEM IN WINCHESTER!
