Small little place. Service was ok but the food was very good. Quantity of Shrimp Pad Thai was gigantic. We ate and ate but barely made a dent. By the way rice does not come with Green Curry. How are we suppose to eat Green Curry then? Eat it like a soup? I thought it was ridiculous to buy the rice separately. Green Curry was so delicious.

This is my summation of Thai Issan. It’s Thai food made with love and respect for the culture it comes from. There is care and pride in every dish and you can taste it. I have never had Thai food that tastes this home made.

This is a small mom and pop type restaurant. It’s a nice small sit down experience with the hustle and bustle of almost continuous take out orders. Which is a nod to the quality and taste of the food.

I would suggest everyone stop in and give it a try. Of course there are different regions and tastes but to me this is what Thai food should taste like. My only disappointment was that it wasn’t hot enough. I wanted to be crying because of the spicy instead I was crying because the meal was over.

Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy this place. At the very least it will give you another Thai place to compare with all the others.

As always support local businesses and stop eating fast food.

No matter where we go-we are heading over to authentic Lao/Thai food! We enjoyed every single dish we ordered. The service was great! They were closing down after the lunchtime rush but still welcomed us in. We were absolutely grateful as the food was phenomenal. The restroom is not located inside the restaurant-you have to walk over to the next building and need a code. One of the staff was so kind to walk with me. Highly recommended!

Once again it’s hard to trust reviews! You just have to go and try it for yourself. Overall we were very pleased with the food & service. I give them a 4.5 rating. We ordered the Thai stuffed chicken wings, shrimp pad Thai noodles and Thai ice coffee. The wings were delicious and nice size. Definitely will order it again. As most of us Thai food fans know, every region has its own style of cooking. I would have give a 5 star rating on the noodles but it didn’t come with a wedge of lime or crushed peanuts. The taste is spot on and it had the right amount of sauce in my opinion. I have had pad Thai at other restaurants and it was on the dry side. I ordered mine spicy and husbands one regular. The spice was perfect! Just enough to make me sniffle lol. The Thai ice coffee was rich and flavorful. We went at about 1245p for lunch and it was busy. Lucky for us we got the last available table. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely going back to try other dishes. Kudos to the chef! Nice mom & pop operation, not a fancy place but clean and pleasant.

Absolutely incredible, I asked for extra chilis on my delivery & normally its never recognized with asian cuisine as we’re perceived to not handle the spice in the West. But Thai Issan has delivered, I asked for extra chilis & now I feel like im fighting for my life on the streets of Bangkok; authentic. Highly recommend. 5 stars. Thank you for this experience.

Food is also exceptional

I want to like this place, especially since we order a lot of catering from them for my work. When I visited them for the first time, my friend who was a regular find the food not as good as usual so their regular chef might be on leave. Being from Southeast Asia I hold Thai food to a high standard so it might still be nice to others. It was Friday evening so it was pretty packed so as soon as we finished eating we felt rushed to leave because the staff approached us apologetically and told us that there are people waiting for our table. I don’t know if that’s common in the US but I’ve never experienced that before. The timing was also difficult because my friend was crying and sharing her story at the time when we were told to leave. I know it wasn’t personal but it wasn’t the best feeling.

The combination platter was excellent and is a reasonable price. I’ve been eating here since it opened in 2008 and will be continuing to be going here. The service is very friendly and the food is excellent. 10/10 recommend, you have to try it out !

Good variety of tasty food. Lots of parking. The waitress helped make some suggestions of what to order, and everything was good, except, I wasn’t crazy about the sticky rice. It had some hard, crunchy(dry) pieces, and for an individual serving, it was expensive. I would definitely go back, but no sticky rice

The ingredients were not fresh especially the garlic tiger shrimp, the shrimps were dark in color and mushy, all other dishes were either too sour or too salty, even the spring roll were not crispy (3 spring rolls cut into half counted as 6 in the menu) it is very expensive considering the small portions. There are way better Thai restaurants in town, not a good choir for us, very disappointing.

Authentic Thai cuisine with great explosive flavors. The curry had a good mix of spice and coconut flavor. The appetizer plate gave a good mix of all the favorites. Good pricing.

The restaurant is small with only 8 tables. They do a lot of take out which is a bit annoying if you sit near the door but the food more than makes up for this.
