We saw the patio once while biking on the Minuteman. Had dinner the next week, reservations for patio same day worked out nicely. Great looking drinks and definitely fresh home made pasta. A beautiful night, great ambiance – will pedal here again soon!

Loved it! The food was incredible, from the appetizers to the dessert. Seriously, it was so good. They even created a mocktail for me that was amazing! It didn’t have a name, but it looked like a strawberry shortcake, so that’s what I called it. I told them they should definitely add it to the menu. The waitstaff was great too—really friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely go back.

Celebrated with family at this marvelous restaurant. The seafood-themed appetizers we ordered were savory and fresh. The meat entrées had robust and nuanced flavors. Everything was nicely presented and our waitress, very cheerful and helpful. Great place.

Sat at the bar on a first date. The bartender was great, interactive and drinks were delicious. The local atmosphere was fun. The locals that frequent were very engaged in this being a first date, it was cute. Sadly the date was a dud but I will be back because the food, drinks and vibe was great!

As a fellow Belgian I loved discovering this cozy restaurant run by a Belgian Chef. The European style food was truly delicious. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The highlight of our evening (beside the amazing meal) was getting to know Didier, owner and chef, whose passion and global expertise is super impressive. We will definitely be back!

From start to finish, the service and food were absolutely impeccable. I can’t say enough about our server, John. He was so funny and entertaining, while also thoughtful and attentive.
For example, I love this cocktail called Paper plane, but it is not super well-known. We showed John the ingredients and he said “Oh yeah, we can do that”. Then, he brings over the cocktail complete with a Paper plane on top and playing the song “Paper planes” on his phone. Next level service! Not to mention, the cocktail was the best Paper plane I ever had.
The fresh, warm bread was top-notch and our appetizer was incredible (got the strudel special). The eggplant/tomato salad exploded with flavor and was so good with the bread.
For entrees, I had one of the specials, salmon with lobster ravioli in a saffron cream sauce. It was so rich, flavorful, and just amazing… and such a value for the reasonable price. My husband had the beef wellington. When it came out, the presentation alone left us in awe. Such a beautiful dish. It was cooked perfectly and it was by far one of the most delicious meals he ever had. I had a couple bites and couldn’t agree more.
Then… coffee and dessert. We had the strawberry shortcake. Best ever… and I’ve had a lot of strawberry shortcakes in my life. Had this fresh strawberry sauce that gave it some tart… all of the sauces in all of the dishes were phenomenal.
When we received the bill, we really thought it was such a great value with all that we ordered. Especially with the quality, taste and presentation of the top-level cuisine.
I do not typically write reviews, and certainly not ones that are this long, but felt compelled to. We had one of the best meals and experiences ever and Scutra is such a gem. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Scutra! – Kacey and Jeff

Everything we had was delicious! The Bread with Herbed Parmesan Oil Dip, the Caprese & Pesto special, the Baked Bay Scallop Stuffed Shrimp – Roasted Zucchini – Rosemary Oil, the Salmon special and the wine and desserts. All perfect!

Went for Saturday dinner with our party of 4. Ordered the Balsamic Braised Short Ribs which the waiter recommended I try. The Short Rib was perfectly tender and served with creamy asparagus and mashed potatoes. For desert, I ordered the chocolate mud cake. The ambiance is peaceful and about the best you can get without venturing into downtown Boston. Service is also top quality as everyone from the general manager down to the servers. The weekend crowd of this place is an obvious reflection of their attention to detail. You will have to fight for weekend reservations at this place as this place is some of the highest quality French/Belgian food in the local area.
