Since moving from Thailand, I’ve been searching everywhere for those bold, vibrant, truly authentic Thai flavors that I miss so much. I saw someone post in here about the Golden Bowl by Dayou Market and I had to give it a try.
I was beyond impressed. Fresh, authentic, and no shortcuts. You can taste the pride in every dish. I was so happy I had to talk to them and they were kind enough to show me the ingredients in their kitchen.
We ordered 2 types of papaya salad, Grilled pork neck, Fried crispy pork , Stir-fried holy basil (exactly how it should taste and this is the dish that made me go up to the kitchen because they use real holy basil). Even the sauces that come with each dish are thoughtfully made and perfectly balanced. And bonus points forever for using real jasmine rice!!!!
I’ve always hoped Columbus would get a Thai restaurant that serve food like this… and now it finally has one.
Highly recommended for anyone craving real Thai food, and another bonus: they offer special menus weekly or monthly, so there’s always something new to look forward to.

When I first stopped by, I got confused on the location, but I finally figured out its inside the Dayou Asian Market in Bethel Rd, Columbus.
The owner Tony and his wife, Dayanara who makes these delicious and authentic Thai dishes are super hospitable!
My favorite is their Tom yum soup and pork cheek dish, so flavorful and authentic!!!

Another great food court addition in Dayou at Bethel. This one serves Thai street food delights. We tried Thai rolls, pad Thai, and fried pork belly rice bowl. They were all spot-on and flavored very much like you will find in the streets of Thailand. They have other famous Thai offerings such as curries and the tom soups. You can customize the heat level. Very much enjoyed the favorite condiment of the owner served on the pork belly. Friendly and quick service. Reasonable price for the quality. Ample parking at Dayou. Highly recommended.

I would like to give 5 stars to this new open Thai restaurant at the Dayou’s food court. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai. The price could be a little high, but the taste was authentic and the size was large. I definitely will try other classic Thai dishes. It could be better if they would make dine-in containers not same as the takeout ones.

Looks nothing like the picture. If you reverse search all the pictures on their menu, they were all taken online from someone else. Tastes better than it looks though and good level of Thai chili spice. But not the classic pad kra pao flavor you’re expecting

THIS IS THE BEST TOM KHA SOUP IVE EVER HAD. FULL STOP. Its creamy, its spicy, its tangy, its and absolute explosion of flavor. Ive been searching for the best in Columbus and here it is. Amazing 15/10 recommend. Pad Thai is also great. They dont skimp on ingredients. Prices are a little high, but for the quality WORTH IT.

This counter service restaurant is inside a small food court.
The food is unbelievable, the spice level is intense, and the service is fast.
If you like Thai food or have been wanting to give it a try, this is your place!

Best pad kee mao I’ve ever had in Columbus! Not overly sweet, perfectly spicy, deep wok hei flavors, and tons of basil and tomato. Drunken noodles spice level 3 was the sweet spotfor me!
