We got there early and were promptly seated with no fuss. Place was fairly empty at first but when we left it was full. The dry aged porterhouse had a fantastic dry aged flavor. Aviator drink was good. Caprese mozzarella appetizer was tasty as well. Server was generally pleasant. Truffle fries are large wedges, which were very good. Onion rings were not great but had some type of seasoning on it i just didn’t care for (my taste buds… others might like it). My only complaint was that our table never received any bread at the start. At first I figured this was just one of those places that didn’t do that, but as we left (from sitting all the way in the back, which was nice) I noticed several other tables with bread. That said, for the dry aged steak flavor, I would definitely return… hopefully with some bread next time.

Stage Left Steak has been a staple of mine for many years. Every time I go here the entire dining experience is amazing. Last night was no different. My girlfriend and I stopped in for dessert after seeing a comedian at the Stress Factory which is a short walk down George Street. The weather was spectacular so we sat outside on the patio and enjoyed chocolate lava cake and fresh baked cookies. What other restaurant serves baked to order, hot and gooey chocolate chip cookies?? Of course no trip to Stage Left would be complete without a glass of wine. As always, the wine list is extensive and has options for all price points. The owner, Francis, stopped by our table and was very welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to come back. Hopefully my next trip will feature one of their famous burgers or a big steak!

Went in for Lobster Dinner on Sunday special. While we have eaten here previously for steaks, which were absolutely delicious, I have to say, the quality of the lobster dinner was subpar. I had a lobster roll and I tried my friend’s whole lobster. It just wasn’t worth it. I will stick to getting lobster where lobster is known for and bought best and fresh. Will always return for the steaks on special occasions though.

The place has a nice low light vibe to it and the staff is very attentive. I ordered a The Stage Left Burger and onion rings everything was very good especially the onion rings. It’s a bit pricey because it’s down the block from the state theater so it’s charging for the theater crowd

Ambiance and staff were amazing! The steaks came out RAW for a medium rare request, sent back and came back no better. The asparagus was not top quality (over cooked) and the Au gratin potatoes were limp and greasy. Over priced and not worth the visit.
